Yeah, I didn’t get at first why. But it was such a smart move to form this group and therefore not having the “new Radiohead record” pressure. For me One of the freshest things Thom and Jonny have done for quite a while ✌️🎶😊
0:00 Thom reminds me of myself when I was 8 and found a microphone mixer with reverb knobs and stuff. It was our school's sound system and they had to spend 10 minutes figuring out how to make it sound right in a school event.
I hope they release one of those three virtual gigs they performed. That was quite a treat. Art and love can carry you sometimes when you no longer can. Thanks for posting this. It has made my spring. Cheers and thanks 🙏!
@@BandCalledTheSleep -Would love it. I got tickets for the second gig of that weekend due to timing. I had heard maybe two songs. My wife and I opened a bottle of wine in the cold of February and were blown away how great it was; Sonics and song craft. I had never done a virtual concert that was aimed at a lockdown. I think we had seen Radiohead play Coachella before they blocked it. I don’t think their was even a pay wall at that time. This unique 3 piece came up with their own groove, some hitting you over the head, others going straight for your heart. I would love a link. Cheers!
@@BandCalledTheSleep Thanks-just to keep the riff raff from scraping youtube for email addresses, you can find it on my 'about' section of my UA-cam channel. I've only loaded a couple of wildlife vids-skunk and a cub bear. I don't know why i did this but there you go. I think it was to share with friends abroad, kiwis who have never seen a skunk or bear cub? I live in the rural world of Montana. Question? DO you have the smile vinyl yet? Im waiting on mine and curious about sound quality. I've had some dubious pressing from XL Records. Seeing what others have run into? Cheers for doing this-much appreciated Ethan-Scott
Just come back from Camden 30th may 2022 gig woooow while we were catching trains I happened to mention to my son. How the hell do these guys store all this new material along with Radiohead stuff 🙄
I have actually never seen a Hipster dance or move to music at all honestly..This is a rare sight..It's almost as if he doesn't care what people think about him..Very rare for the modern Hipster..I will keep my eye on this anomaly..

Nice treat first thing. Thank you.
Jonny finally looks like he's in his 30's.
Nigel is a genius. The ultimate producer engineer.
When Jonny plays the bass he reminds me of the bassist from 'death from above 1979' lol
the strombo performance from death frome above. soooo good
I love Tom’s long light blue shirt at the start.
