You remind me how beautiful that place is. You got a really great shot of Beaver Falls! Always good to get the navajo tacos and the rootbeer float in the village.
You have produced a lot of great videos but I think this is among your best. The videography, the trails, the spectacular scenery; and your theme song blended in very well. Well done!!
Thank you! I kinda bummed out the first day of this trip. I wasn't able to record any information because all I wanted was to reach the village. But it's all good. I learned and made adjustments and corrections on the next trips.
oh wow thank you for sharing! i need to work up to this hike. I might try next year! thanks for sharing I just subbed I can't wait to follow your adventures!
You know, I never have interest in hiking, or just watching someone hiking before, until I stumbled onto your channel. I thought, hiking is just another boring hobby, like fishing, where you sit on your ass, drinking beer, waiting and hoping for some idiot fish to bite and get hooked! 😂😂😂 Somehow, you gave me a different perspective of hiking as an outdoor adventure. Thank you for sharing your adventures. I love it. 😎👍
😅😅😅 I enjoy hiking. Sometimes, the trail can be boring, but I just think about my destination, and it is worth it! Sometimes, the trail is more interesting and fun than the destination. I have not done fishing, but I have been thinking of trying it for some time now. I'm glad you liked the video! Thank you for watching 😊😊😊
At that time, yes we can have campfire. It is normally banned but early this year after flood, there was a lot of wood debris so they let us have campfire. But shortly after that, they banned it again.
Hey there! You're welcome 😊 the water was cold but tolerable once you get wet. The schedule is Sunday-Monday and Thursday-Friday. It's $100 per person.
Great video! I’m headed there the first week in May and incredibly excited. Can I ask what you use for photography/videography? Is there a tripod you use?
Mooney to confluence is 10 miles, one way. It was within reach for you but it would have been more of a sprint hike and just a minute at the confluence. It would have been a BIG day and short look. Good sound reasoning and thinking tho.
I'm thinking I would do it on the second day next time, and I would backpack it to the confluence. I have talked to some people on the way to Beaver Falls who were staying the night there.
@@sunkissedmary We are not allowed to legally camp down there (tho I did camp at confluence in 1997!) Just need to be ready to hit a max long day (unless you know some Supai people;)
@Jeff Dana No, I don't know any Supai people 😅 other tribes though. I just finished an 18-mile hike here at Grand Canyon in a day. I think I can do confluence next time 😊
How! So the reservation decided to finally open up to the public again?! That’s cool! So can you fly in and out? I always thought you had to do the extremely long hike back?
There's still no new available permits. Only transfer permit from people who had it before but couldn't go now. You can use their helicopter service if you don't want to hike that long. But locals are prioritized.
Hello Susie, the name of the song is Sunkissed, I guess 😆 we never really named it. I hired a singer and songwriter from Canada to make it for my UA-cam channel.
It's not too far from the entrance of the camp. Plus, there are wheelbarrows that you can put your stuff. The only hard part is when going out. It's a hill going up and out of the campground, but it's really short.
Hi Mary! New subscriber here🥰 I’m loving all your vlogs! I'd be interested in learning more about the specifics of how you hiked to this stunning Beaver Falls (airport, camping, etc.). I will DM you on Instagram. Pinay ka? ☺️
wow, good job! great video, love it.
Thank for your professional hard work
Love it
I'm glad you enjoyed it, Lisa 😊

That's the only thing I have not tried, the Navajo tacos! I was so full with the Indian fried bread and Supai burger 😅
The color of that water is gorgeous, and palm trees?! 💚💚 great job!
It is amazing! There's only one palm tree, though. This hike is multi day hike.
@@sunkissedmary that 1 palm tree is beautiful! Ha

My friends got married here. It's a beautiful place with whirlpools... Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the sub! The hike to and from Hilltop to Campground is not strenuous one. It is mostly flat except at the Hilltop. I bet you can do it!
Heading there in one month...can't wait! Great job on the video. Timmy C Arizona
Thank you. Enjoy your trip! 😊😊😊

Hi Mary! Loved your video!! Quick question, did they let your have the fire in the campground?
At that time, yes we can have campfire. It is normally banned but early this year after flood, there was a lot of wood debris so they let us have campfire. But shortly after that, they banned it again.
Thanks for the great footage and information! Was the water cold? And do you know what the helicopter schedule is? Runs daily?

Hi, when did you went to Havasupai fAlls ? ❤️ Btw, love your video!
Thank you very much! I went to Havasupai last year mid March.

Hi Amanda, I used GoPro Hero 9. I have a selfie stick that converts to tripod. I'm excited about your adventure in May, enjoy!

You need convertible hiking pants! I would want pants for the grassy potentially snakey area then shorts for the river crossings
That sounds cool! Will they have it at REI?
@@sunkissedmary yes! Just search convertible pants, they make one called Sahara :)

Awesome, enjoy Dedrick!
Hi, could you help me, how to get a permit ?
Hello Alan, You can go to the havasupaireservations.com at the transfer list tab. You have to create an account first before you can see the list.
Who’s the artist singing the song?
It was Ray from Fiver. Her username is raymmusic if you would like to reach out to her
Was this filmed in 2023?
It was in March 2023
Is there bathroom there? How can you shower
There is a bathroom but no shower. You can get bathroom wipes at REI. It refreshes you like you shower. It's thicker than a regular wipes.
