In generally, for any fault of children, parent may scold or hit them or may appear mean to the children,will utter acidic words ,but later cry silently and brickbat themselves that it's their fault the child is behaving inappropriately.They blame their own parenting,upbringing skills and curse themselves that they are not fit to be a parent.They don't express this to children though.😊
Imagine the anguish,agony ,distress,extrinsic guilt of a parent who is punishing a child( his favourite ) with a cruel punishment for absolutely no fault of his own!!Mr.Choudhary depicted it so well..

Shree Ram relinquished all the jewels but for the ring his spouse gifted him.Hence technically he is not taking any jewellery from the palace apart from Mahadeva's gift.
The only episode till date where I liked Aarav Choudhary's acting as the sorrowful father.The scene is quite overwhelming and emotional.He just keeps on crying as if his heart literally broke.Sirf rotey rehte hain.

In VR,all the 3 men embrace each other and just cry for sometime.Later Ram composed himself quickly but Dashrath keeps on lamenting and keeps on talking and cursing himself .However I feel this scene is much better with no dialogues from Dashratha.
Aarav Chaudhary 's acting is highlight of this episode 😃
Before leaving forest,they give away all the riches they had to Brahmans.Normally whenever Ram ventures out ,he is always accompanied by a huge entourage of 4 strong wings of army ( elephants,infantry, cavalry ,chariots) .It's a shocker for the people that he was alone on the streets without even an umbrella.

Dont know why I can't put them together .
Let me say here again for the first time readers or beginner watchers of Ramayana.I loved Sujay Reu as Shree Ram.He slayed the role and expressed the emotions convincingly to a large extent BUT physically wise not the right person for the role .Source is from Valmiki Ramayan.For me,Mr.Reu is the best Rama till date not because of the physical stature but because he presented the humane qualities of Shree Ram to a reasonably good extent,an aspect that is almost always ignored by TV makers and because of that people had an unreal impression of Shree Ram.Consequently they cannot relate to the Lord.
As a matter of fact,none of the actors from Mr.Arun Govind to Mr.Reu physically fit in the description of Lord Rama.
According to the text,Shree Ram was immensely tall( 8 feet) and muscular with fleshy collar bones,conch( shankh) like neck,broad shouldered,prominent cheeks,broad, stiff ,elevated chest,large eyes with red coppery tinge, ( lotus eyed) ,quite dark complexion,radiant like sun(,long arms,legs eyebrows, lock of hair,knees and soles)stiff fists ,wrists,symmetrical body,sharp nose,charming lips,sharp jaws etc..
Phew !! Description is still not over..I can go on and on though..😬
Ashish Sharma kind of matched bodily with Shree Ram( his body is more muscular) but he is not very tall and though he is an extremely attractive person,his face lacked the demeanor to pull off the character .Mr Govind became an instant hit only because he was the first Ram ever on television though he had none of the traits of Shree Ram.Sujay matches only in terms of having tall height( 6'3" is more than average height in today's standards),large eyes ,sharp nose and a beautiful smile with a radiant face and a peaceful demeanor.But he is quite lean,fair and has a delicate appearance .They are not like Shree Ram's .Girls may swoon over his appearance but it is not the same as Shree Ram.But he brought a largely ignored aspect of Shree Ram's personality to the table and that is the high EQ ( emotional quotient) and expressive nature.Again in serial it's not delivered100% .Shree Ram was quite verbal in his emotions and never bottled up his emotions but still Sujay did reasonably good.😊
None of the actors till date were the correct casting but what makes me upset that makers always got wrong with the personality of Shree Ram.They could at least show him as what he really was.He was always shown in serials and movies as a peaceful and sedate guy wherein he doesn't express emotions and remains an all knowing guy.People don't know that he was the exact opposite and a lot like us .Quite relatable character.Though physically Shree Ram is extremely agile and quite quick with his physical attacks,emotionally and personality wise he was just like us humans with a high EQ, ( a lot of us have reasonably good EQ- emotional intelligence)and empathetic nature .
TV people always missed that aspect of personality .Even in SR,a large aspect of this personality is missing .He is still depicted in SR as a guy who is in control most of the times.I guess makers focussed on giving a " FAKE ULTRAPOSITIVE" personality to Ram . Still Sujay did a commendable job and tried to show the relatable qualities of the Lord to us.For that my best wishes Mr.Reu..!!
I also like to believe that irrespective of TRP,roles in an epic based serial can be played by only chosen ones.We as an audience may comment that casting in such serials is worst and acting is terrible but they are the "chosen " ones for the role.In a way ,some divine intervention may be responsible for the casting.

Though all you said is correct to a large extent, the fact that Sujay really looked like a teenager or 'Komal Tarun' or 'Baalak' as he is so described in VR also. Till date no other actor looked so innocent or young. Sujay has definitely slayed the role.
And as the show progressed the makers have shown him to be an adult with simple changes in his makeup and appearance.
Above all Sujay and the entire cast of ShriMad Ramayan have really emoted well through their eyes and facial expressions
Another big draw is the BGM. Earlier all other Ramayanas had BGM which suited more to daily sas- bahu soaps. Here by playing Sanskrit slokas and good songs the makers have indeed given Shrimad Ramayan a divine touch.

I really hope Swastik productions will focus on the execution of the war sequences, it seems that everyone was confused in the battlefield and Meghnaad dominating Angad yes Angad gave a fight , but dont exaggerate it aaj ka pura episode ishi m chala gaya adhe log shivir m h adhe log yuddh bhumi par h , they must show that an entire different team has been made only to treat injured soldiers, rest all must fight and whoever gets injured, will be taked away and treated with the team that has neen made to treat them yaha par koi bhi ladte ladte battlefield m se bahar a jata h

I have stopped watching the show after watching the war scenes! They are so embarrassing what are they even doing? First of all they are fighting in bright day light ! That ground where they are fighting what is it exactly? They couldn't find a better location? And it's looking like there are just 50-60 people fighting! the whole battlefield looks empty! It's not giving the feeling of a war at all! They ruined it badly!
