The dream itself is quite long in VR .He sees all kinds of ill omens in his dream which makes him restless. The messengers bring lots of gifts to kaikeya and return with similar return gifts.Bharat returns with 100 chariots.The name of each and every place ,lakes,etc he crosses is mentioned in detail in the original.The entourage takes 7 days to get to Ayoddhya.He finds that the place has lost its radiance. Unlike what is shown here,Bharat goes first to meet his mother to inquire about the sad state of the city.He cries profusely on hearing the news about his father and then immediately springs up to see Rama as he now thinks Ram has taken the place of his father and he may feel the same amount of security and love from his elder brother. When kaikeya gives him the news that Ram has been banished from the kingdom,Bharata genuinely becomes confused. Bharata being aware of the glory of his race, doubted and feared whether Rama was sent to exile because of Ram 's unrighteous conduct. What happens next is interesting. He asks has Rama stolen the wealth of some Brahmana? Has he done any harm either to a rich or to a poor virtuous man? Has the prince longed for the wife of another? Why was my brother Rama expelled to the forest of Dandaka? You see ,he asks genuine questions as opposite to blind trust displayed by Bharata in the series. Kaikeya replies victoriously- Not even a little of belonging to a Brahman was stolen by Rama,No harm was done by him either to a rich or to a poor virtuous man. Rama does not even glances at other women. Bharat was horrified to know that the punishment was uncalled for.
