Let me clear this - Unlike what is shown here .
1.Bharat stays most of the time away from Ayoddhya while he is being brought up.
2.After their marriage ,Ram and Sita live in Ayoddhya for 12 years and then the whole process of exile begins when the topic of coronation of Ram crops up.
One of the worst castings in this series was the casting of Meghanad.This guy is trying to be over masculine.
According to VR,Meghanad was immensely tall ( 110 feet ).He had lotus like eyes,extra ordinary energy ,agile with his bow and arrows and had a chariot with 4 tigers.

Agreed the actor who lived the character of Meghnaad was Vijay Arora sir, he was outstanding, yes he can't match with how Meghnaad was physically but yes he had that quality in him , and he acted really well , he looked powerful ,valorous which this actor isn't looking , this actor is good but not fits as Meghnad

One of the reasons why Rmanand's Sagar became hit was because it was the 1st series of its kind.Second it was based on Ramcharitmanas,a revered and the most popular adaptation of the original.Plus the focus was more on the philosophy rather than the story itself.
I was never able to relate to any of the versions as I related to the original.😊
Unfortunately,it doesn't have any masala but natural emotions,something that doesn't have the right chords to raise TRPs.But very few people like it.I guess I'm one of them.
Having said that I would always appreciate Ramcharitmanas because it came at a time when people were quite hopeless and he made sure that he took this epic to the locals in awadhi language .Plus he was helped by none other than Hanuman himself.

Also the guy playing Meghanand for me really suited in Devon ke Dev Mahadev.By looks he was quite appropriate for the role of Karthikeyan..
Having said that Devon ke Dev was twisted horribly by Devdutt Patnaik forhis own twisted reasons.A guy who has never learnt Sanskrit is responsible for making this drama.I loved the casting and acting though..😊

I didn't get, what was wrong in Ravana decision to fight against rebellion? Vidiudjiva tried to kill him with help of outer force, isn't it duty of a King to stop them, and to made em an example for others?
