- I HAVE RETURNED!!! Unfortunately, I seem to have left my Isle combat skills behind, and of course Ceratosaurus is the one that has to suffer because of it.

@@laurobernardo7807 Yeah, it's not supposed to be. In real life cerato was much stronger than a carnotaurus, carno had a week ass bite because of it's pathetic jaws. I get it's a game, but they base it off realism.
@@laurobernardo7807 ok? Carnotaurus is intended to be an ambush-based small game hunter that is capable of blitzing small animals and falters VS anything close to its weight. Cerato is only 500 kilos smaller and by all means SHOULD be stronger with a natural damage resistance.
Ceratosaurus should dominate the matchup in a straight fight, but the match becoming closer to equivalent as skill increases on the carno's end
Give it a better Biteforce and maybe slight resistance and we’re good.

That first death is pretty much how all cerato vs carno 1v1s go, you can out-maneuver and outbite carnos all you want but they still win. One of the problems of having weight correlate to health in the game, ceratos built like a tank but still squishy

Carno doesn’t destroy cerato, it’s a close matchup that is determined by the skill of both fighters, but cera has the upper hand mostly because of its turning speed

tbh I feel like they nerfed carno so that they didn’t have to buff cera like they should have. Try 1400hp, 180 bite damage, and go from there

carno IS viable, its not that it isnt, but if you play it even once chances are your experience will be mostly frustrating and boring than anything.

Hi pesky, i love ur vids, quick tip coming from a cera main try to manoevre to the side of the carno for a charge bite because if you face tank them you'll die. But great video!

It makes no sense to me that the Cera is lighter, slower, and weaker than the carno yet the carno is on its diet and it's supposed to be the head on dino where the carno should be the ambush predator

Stop face tanking so much. Use your superior turn radius to dodge and bite the carno. Don't get into a brawl until the carno is out of stamina. Once you run him out of stamina you will easily be able to kill him.

How do you open stomach was it left click? When i do left click cera attacks and moves forward. Im not sure if im doing it right
In the settings you can activate a setting called “manual ALT attack”
That little lunge is the ALT attack, which is a directional bite, have you noticed that depending where you look, that is where your dinosaur attacks?
Once you activate this setting your bites will be the normal ones, and to do a manual ALT attack, hold down the alt key and attack

How do you bite without lunging with the cerato to open carcasses? Left click lunges for me.
In the settings of the game, there is an option to “enable manual ALT attack” , that lunge is the alt attack, it is a directional attack, so wherever you click your dinosaur will turn and attack there, once you enable that setting your attacks will be the normal ones, and to perform the ALT attacks you’ll have to hold the key alt and then left click/right click
Another example of an ALT attack would be the teno tail slam

The thing that gets cerato killed by carno is that cerato players always opt for fighting them rather than disappearing into the forest, crossing any river, dodging the charges wasting the carnos stam then leaving with the remaining stamina you got, and just in general avoiding carnos rather than fighting them
Just trust me bro the best way to not die to carnos. Is to avoid carnos
but should cerato actually be avoiding the fight? its the kill-stealing wildly ferocious brawler that deals to much damage to be a safe kill. cerato should pose at least minor threat to all of its predators, even, perhaps especiallt, allo.
it cant exactly do that if carno can just tank it
@@transnewt Well carnos probably won’t try to kill cerato if it’s able to get the body buff. And up until it gets that buff it is still incredibly agile and can easily dodge carno charges, possibly even land a few hits if the opportunity presents itself. But in this scenario the main goal isn’t to kill the other player but rather to get the body.
@@transnewt they still are. cera are very dangerous around a corpse. other than that they don't match up to carno. He lost because he wasn't stealing a corpse, instead he was trying straight up fight which is not how you play cero. they're scavengers. lol
@@redwolf4611cera does match up to carno, the turn speed negates the charge of the carnotaurus and the debuffs of vomit make it unable to run efficiently and use its charges, plus cera has more damage capabilities with its charge attack, once you got the carno immobile you brawl it
This doesn’t mean you face tank the carno tho, since it has higher damage on its bites and ALT bites and higher health, you go in with charge bites that do up to 300 damage

Can someone help me as have not played in while are carnos now stronger than ceratos as they were not in legacy or was pesky unfortunate if they can trade hit for hit but are also faster what chance does a cerato have?
yes and no. They're very similar in bite force and health but carno is a hunter where as cera is a scavenger. out in the opena carno will win because it's the fastest dino. but if when it comes to stealing food from other dino's cera is king because they become immune to damage beyond a certain threshold while eating. And they eat very fast.
Carno's are stun fighters, relying on their 3-4 second stun from their charge. where as cera are designed like a komodo dragon. take a bite and keep out of reach while the infection does it's thing. they get vomit sickness which means they lose most of their food and water and they lose stamina faster. so all in all it depends heavily on the situation. messing with a cera on a corpse? bad move. trying to butt heads with a carno? also a bad move. Peskie tried to butt heads and got rammed.
@@redwolf4611it all also comes down to skill, carno doesn’t immediately win in open fields, cerato can outmaneuver it and once the carno runs out of stamina it is over
