    • @dr.dylansgame5583
      @dr.dylansgame5583 3 роки тому +7

      to be fair those fast twitch fibers can give explosive power if you get good at timing you can catch someone off guard with freakish strength. Especially if you have a small frame with lean muscle. At that point all it comes down to is not gassing which is hard but is more breathing oriented then physical stamina since you need that oxygen flow to keep fighting. So practice conserving breathe and taking efficient breathes in through the nose and out through the mouth. As for the physical exhausting pain from the explosive power i found is almost completely mind over matter.
      The reason i can say all this is I'm a small framed man with this same gene and hard bones. I don't even weigh featherweight class yet i can spar people over twice my size in striking arts. After i practiced boxing and wrestling and other misc stuff i settled with wing chun and modified it to my needs. It doesn't require strength but the explosive power from the muscle and catch people slipping and blocking with my hard bones wears people down both in stamina and damage. And finally just using the most energy efficient movements and conserving and taking good breathes make it so i feel like i almost never get gassed unless i start to panic and lose form. My main weapon outside of deflection and counters is kung fu horse stance they can take all the low blows they want but they will have next to zero chance of hitting me in the groin or wearing me down with low kicks and it makes me near impossible to sweep or knockdown and picking up when I'm lowering my center of gravity would go from feeling like 115 pounds to around 345

    There was a few moments in my life where I had short bouts of superhuman hearing from one ear. It was not due to genetics, it was due to an ear infection, where fluid accumulated in my ear canal, sometimes, creating a thin bubble membrane the same diameter as my ear canal, thus creating a second temporary "ear drum" that provided me with superhearing. Those bouts only lasted a few seconds at a time, but I could hear things in amazing detail. Like a conversation between people sitting at a table at the other end of the restaurant, with a fair amount of background noise, I could hear those people like they were sitting right next to me. Unfortunately, that was not a REAL superpower, just an accident that was temporarily beneficial lol

It has it's ups and downs though just like everything else. For example a tree fell on me while we were clearing land, i fell and busted my ass, but other than that i felt fine and didn't have anything broken (this tree had to weigh 500 pounds easy)

    As an asian, the most common gene mutation (at least in the video) occurred to most of us..Honestly, my body hardly ever produces smelly body oder but one of my friends do, which is odd but we just mostly ignore it. The fact that it mostly occurs to us asians is kind of fascinating and also weird at the same time. We also don’t know how that happened, but at least that’s apparently one of the benefits of being an asian, I guess?

      Actually, in D&D terms, it's more like being built with 3.5 stats in a 5e world.
      You have STR 26 in a world where everyone else is capped at 20. You got both ASI and class feats as you grew up; you don't know why no one else has as many abilities as you do. You have a +25 to Perception when everyone else can't get beyond +18.
      You don't know why... people tell you that you're just built different.

    • @dmonkeyluffy62
      @dmonkeyluffy62 Рік тому

      @@ClipperHorizon Kind of. You are not wrong in your parallel, but my point was different. I mentioned 20 for attributes because, even for 3.5e, someone with this number, let alone higher, is already considered exceptional and special at the relative aspects among society. In 3.5e, the average human has 10 in all attributes, while, e.g., a 16 would make you very good at whatever the stat involves, but not exceptional. Isn't that the same in 5e?

    • @ClipperHorizon
      @ClipperHorizon Рік тому +1

      @@dmonkeyluffy62 That's fair. If you're comparing NPCs to PCs, then every PC is super powered regardless of the system.
      In 5e, one generally wants to max one's main stat and given the stat cap, it's not hard to do, so most characters by mid-level will have a stat of 20 and several other good stats. 20 is not particularly unusual in 5e for PCs. If you're comparing NPCs with stats of 10 to PCs, then anyone with a stat boost or two will be exceptional, so I don't think that's a good comparison, which is why I went with the comparison of 5e's capped stats to uncapped 3.5 stats.

    I have a very low case of myostatin-related muscle-fiber hypertrophea, or as you call it, "Herculean gene". Whenever I carry a minimum of 25-30 kg load (ex: boxes when moving, I do that alot), I tend to develop an intense muscular growth on the used muscular areas. When I was 17 I had gotten kicked in the head by a horse, completely severed nerves and repositioned some of my scalp. CAT scan was done at that time and couldn't find any hairline fractures. Had multiple checkups afterwards and my skull didn't fracture or split later. Was told by experts that's impossible.
    Fast forward years later and I'm 25. A truck had T-bone me hitting me so hard it had turned my car facing a 120° angle. My left side had absorbed the full impact of the truck as it was going 50 mph and none of my airbags went off. I walked out and was able to see my own doctor.
    X-rays showed no fractures that he could see so far. He said normally bone separates in three days. So I came back in three days. Nothing wrong with my shoulder. He told me to come back in a week for more X-rays. Still, no hairline fractures. Was told yet again that's impossible.

Plus I have always weighed a lot more than I appear. The biggest contrast was in my teenage years. Six foot tall, 284 pounds, yet looked pretty lean. I met a kid back in 2004 at the Sedro Woolley Job Corps he could feel no pain. He would show you this by holding a lighter to his hand or shoulder and make the skin bubble. For a dollar he would let you kick him in the nuts as hard as you could.

    One of my friends is considered a savant by everyone around him. He is average or below average at most things, but when it comes to almost every major subject (math, science, english), he can do it all with ease. Every test, assignment, or task at high school will get a 100% score on. Consistently.

    I once met a guy with super strength, he was around 6' 1" and 220 lbs. At first I thought he had been lifting for years but he informed me he had lifted in the past but hadn't in years. I didn't believe him until we were deployed overseas together and he never worked out. Fast forward 7 months and we get home and he decided to start lifting, first time at the gym he benched 315 for three. He put on 30 lbs of muscle in 3-4 months.

      No, no ... There's a filter most people have to filter out the bullshit in this world. Genius sometimes goes hand in hand with mental illness. Geniuses and those with some mental illnesses don't have that filter and see things for what they are, the people being super fake, the politicians that play with our future, the lies, the stealing, the depravity and aggressiveness, the lust for blood and war, etc. It's just too much for them. The more you see the worse it is.

    My Grandad has Rh- blood and his immune system is practically perfect, he's basically immune to covid 19 and he hasn't got a cold or any flu like symptoms in his life. He's done his research and the reason he has it is because of some ancient gene his mum and dad had, the 2 genes connected when he was being made and now he has Rh- blood. Scientists don't know where Rh- blood come from and in the "laws of science" it supposedly shouldn't exist, many believe its just some rare mutation but I think otherwise. Why is it that his immune system is so perfect? This may sound silly and that's fine but, I believe it has something to do with alien interbreeding.

      @@creeproot it's sounds stupid as hell I know, but I've listened to some underground podcasts about it and the Rh- blood topic came up multiple times. Finland is the biggest founding place in the world for Rh- blood, Finland is also the only place in the world where scientists and historians don't know where the language came from. All languages come from a language above its self, all ending back at the Original language, but Finnish doesn't. Do you see what Im getting at?

    • @creeproot
      @creeproot 3 роки тому

      @@Dimas-qb7mt no. Finnish is part of the uralic language branch. It is related to Estonian and distantly to Hungarian, as well as many Siberian languages of the asian steppes.
      Language families only date as far back as their reconstructed ancestor. There is no such thing as an "Original Language". You are basically implying Finnish people are aliens, which I'm sorry but is kind of laughable
