What have you used and can recommend for Moulding, Seals, Grommets?
I have used 303 protectant only and massage it with an applicator.
Excited to use it since won it!👌👌👌
Water with a little dawn and a soft bristle tooth brush
I use 303 Aerospace too. They actually put a special version in a dabber-type dispenser (think liquid shoe polish bottle) to make application on seals even easier for those so inclined. Always looking for something better though!
I use 303 protectant on my seals 🦭
Can you use it on engine bay?
Another educational video and review Brian. Tac system one of the few product brands I’ve yet to try. Always great content and thanks as always.
Very useful tip never covered by anyone else. Thank You!
Looks pretty versatile. I've used Gummie Pfledge before. I'll have to give this a try. Thanks again Brian for another informative video!
A great video for the video library Brian ✊Excellent as always
My old f80 m3 had squeaky door seals. Common problem with those cars. Every wash I’d have to remove old dressing and apply new rubber conditioner. Was an absolute pita
I appreciate the video as I’m a big fan of TacSystem products.
Started using tac system metal polish after watching one of your videos. This maybe another thing I may have to try
Very cool stuff Brian! 🍻🍻🍻
I love products like this.
I'm sure you're the last person that needs a pro-tip Brian, but just in case you haven't already used this one, when I'm completely just about done, I like to go hit the bottom window seals with something like this and let it soak a bit, then I'll mop up the miniscule amount with a detailing swab and wipe off my window again if necessary.
Just leaves a nice dressed touch and keeps what I find to be the most vulnerable seals on a car, nice and soft and flexible for all the ups and downs the windows throw at them.
Another awesome video and product review good friend.
Looking great, highly curious about the durability. Thanks Brian!
I wipe down rubber seals about twice a year with food grade silicone. Looks an works great
I will surely try, every time I can, I clean those rubbers to prevent sweaky noise specially on sunroof but it came back rapidly, maybe this product will help more. Thanks Bryan
What type of material is that on the door when you open it and how do you clean it?
Tac system make make some great products 👌🏻
You started me on PERL a few years ago. PREL works nice. Brian would you compare them as the same type of product, and which do you like better Brian?
Any new products to recommend for exterior rubber window seals?
how do you clean them tho
I could use something like this for my classic!
This seems a bit like 303 Protectant except it does glass. I guess you COULD use it on paint but I kind of think that’s for overspray (there are so many better options available IMO).
Oh by the way…what’s the rating on the Brian Scale of Excellence??
I remember using Seal by Zymol for rubber seals back in the eighties. I would be interested in a product which works to condition seals.
What is the longevity? How often would you recommend to use it on door seals? Thank you
Interesting product. I thought anything oil based on paint and glass was a no-no but I guess not, I would’ve guessed tons of streaks and hard to wipe off but it looked easy. Cool video
Not sure what the chemical make up is....just looks a bit oily to me.
Interested 👍🏻
I definitely see this being useful on seals and jams, but I think I'd personally limit this product to that.
I've tried many products in these areas and just haven't found the right product yet!
Malco Epic Revive for me on seals. Works great. This looks good initially, not betting on durability....
What is the best protectant to use on the rubber for frameless doors where the glass is constantly closing against the rubber every time you close the door?
Protect All would be an option.
Usually just wipe down seals few times a year with spray silicone
I use a product called Protect-All. It is good for all surfaces except carpet.
Hey Brian! What exactly is it gonna do for glass & paint? Does it provide water bearing etc?
The water behavior is beading.
This product does not run or stain when wet? I saw that you sprayed some on the glass. I did ask about the paint and the glass. I finished watching the video and saw that you mentioned it was okay for that. So, this is a universal product. Interesting.
This seems counterintuitive to apply an oil based product on paint and glass. But since I haven’t tried this product I can’t give an informed opinion on the subject. However I don’t think you (Brian) would recommend something that didn’t work.
I have used a couple of different products including VRP from Chemical Guys. I use one of those little foam brushes to apply so as not to get it on parts that don’t need it. Applied 2-3 times a year and seems to work fine.
Thanks for the review 👍✌️☮️
I am not quite sure what the chemical make up is exactly. Just seems a bit oily to me.
I love Tac Systems I’m glad we can get it at carzilla. I use moonlight all the time in my details.
Interesting stuff. What other products have we used in the present to achieve the same results?
Thanks Brian!
Protect All is another option.
Also, I'm sorta confused by this product even though I love the idea of it.
Is it basically like a quick detailer with some additional conditioning properties?
Chemically...it seems much different from a quick detailer. More like a sealant.
@@apexdetail85 wow that's actually pretty awesome. That's part of why I love your channel so much Brian, you're always showing interesting products and alternatives and so on. (apart from being a detailing genius and sharing your knowledge with us all).
Good for sunroof
Why not use a spray detail
You can use Meguiars mirror glaze number 40 works great and cheaper than Tac systems
👍🏻
i would love to try this as ive bought some products from Carzilla before but now the shipping has gotten ridiculously expensive, even if purchasing one item. :( do you have an alternative recommendation that can perform the same or similarly thats also able to be purchased in the states?
Try Protect All.
@@apexdetail85 for some reason, that sounds familiar. Ill look into that. Mahalo!
👍
Can you do a video on cleaning the window tint on the interior of your car? Lower GSM mf, water only, etc.?
Make your own for protecting tint on the interior of windows. 600 ml of distilled water in a spray bottle, then add 15 ml of baby shampoo. But get good quality edgeless micro-fibre cloths. This is cheap, works a treat and does not harm tint.
@@cudgee7144 ~ 300 gsm mf towels?
@@dtna 350-520 are fine. I use 520 because i bought a bundle of them when they were on special and got a good deal. And they are good for polishing and waxing and finishing the duco. But 350 would be fine, but this method is the best. I have used this way of cleaning my car windows for years with absolutely no damage to the inside tint. And compared to what you pay for name brand window cleaners is less than 1/10th of the cost. Try it my friend you will be surprized how easy it is and how well it works, and no streaking what so ever. 👍🤝
Definitely trying this, do you order from Carzilla?
Link in description box.
Looks great👍🏻.. I always thought oil eats rubber/plastics.. evidently not?🤔🤷♂️
I am not exactly sure what the chemical make up is....just looks a bit oily.
Will water bead and sheet on the paint with that?
Beads
Why glass and paint as well as rubber? I get the " overspray " effect on adjacent surfaces it should be safe obviously...but applying it on purpose to glass?
I am just sharing what the product description indicates...can be used on paint and glass.
My apologies as coming across as critical....hey one bottle1 sponge 1 microfiber .less time.
It's similar to Moonlight in that it uses an oil carrier instead of a solvent carrier. I've used moonlight with decent success on paint and plastics so I'm sure this is similar. In that sense, you can use it exclusively on trim and rubber seals, but it's not bad if you get it on the paint.
@@SecretSauceyjuice that was a nice clarification.maybe not made purposefully to go on paint and glass...perhaps they discovered it offers protection on other surfaces? Pure conjecture on my end.Good for them if it ended up being versatile.

DESCRIPTION
UNIVERSAL HYDROPHOBIC SPRAY-ON COATING.
LET’S CALL IT THE TACSYSTEM “MOONLIGHT JR”, THE SAME OIL-BASED AS THE MOONLIGHT.
From interiors to exteriors, everything and anything, the Almighty can coat wheel, tires, plastics, dashboards, vinyl, paint, windows, leather (coated), engine bay etc.
When used on plastics and trims, it darkens and restores the surface to a satin, deep finish. No curing or set time, simply spray, wipe and done. No foul, solvent heavy smell like most oil-based ceramic spray-on coatings. Almighty is a sheeting product, great for areas of hard water.
Looks cool
Imo spraying into mf towels makes clean up faster and easier. Also saves product. B well good friend
Why wouldn't you use a rubber, plastic, trim, etc., conditioner you already have in arsenal? I have used TW Ice Spray Wax, a tool in my tool box...
If you already have products...use them up first.
For my rubber seals I like to throw some 303 on them
Aero 303
First nice! The Almighty 👌👌👌
