And no chance for bad guy to get early release only to recommit this crime all over again. That is a WIN 8 ways from Sunday.
And here's another li'l tidbit for you to contemplate: There are about 30,000 killings each year by firearm in the US. Of those, almost half are by suicide. Of the remaining 15,000 killings by firearm, 65 percent of them, or about 10,000, are murders by gang members. The remainder, about 5,300, are the same type of murders during robberies, home invasions, carjackings, and like what happened in this school. That TOTAL in a year's time represents ONLY 1.5 thousandths of 1% of the population of the USA. You need to learn how to handle math. Math can help you PROPERLY CHANNEL your anger toward the most effective cause of the problem.
I also think you should also be a little more angry at the bad guy and a lot less upset at the "good guy with a gun" argument. Stop trying to confuse the issue for others. You should blame the bad guy for EVERYTHING, and you should be crying out to find out if this bad guy was unjustifiably allowed out into society when he should have been locked up or institutionalized. I'm telling you, this does not pass the smell test, and you're not asking any questions! Something stinks here, somebody knew about it, and somebody's incompetence, laziness, or liberal virtue signalling allowed this person to commit the most heinous of crimes. I beg you, PLEASE direct your anger not at the person defending the 2nd amendment, but instead at the evil person who perpetrated this heinous crime. Get it right. Do better.
@@demigod1013 If anyone of the staff carried a gun the threat would have been neutralized long before the police arrived and greatly reduce the casualties. Laws that restrict us from owning guns only make crime and shootings easier for criminals. Because of anti 2a laws you see more shootings.

As a child I played with a boy who grew up to be a murderer. He was executed for his crimes. It saddens me that he is memorialized on a website called murderpedia. His victims? I know the names. I miss them. Where is their memorial? Who were they?
Today I shed a tear for them-- again.

Watching from London on Thursday morning, a 70 yo man. This is probably the best opening to any Gutfeld show I have had the privilege to view. Kudos to ALL involved.
If this strategy of minimal coverage were applied to issues like this and also racial issues (like Morgan Freeman said about race: “Stop talking about it”), the world would be a better place, but as Tyrus said, these media people know exactly what they’re doing and they don’t care about making the world a better place.

I agree with you Emily. I loved that you recognized and mentioned all the innocent people that were lost in the shootings. They are the hero's and I agree that they are the ones that should be center stage. Good behavior should be rewarded and put center stage while evil needs to be held accountable and not be rewarded for anything.

I agree! The video should have the end of the killers deed... So many lost and wanting to take revenge on others instead of themselves. The madness stops on how you raise a child. I'm an old lady now but I remember my mother telling me when I was little to be happy with how God made me! Stop trying to be someone you are not and embrace the person you were born as! God help us all and may the victims and their families heal from this tragedy. Thank you to those brave and fierce officers who did their job right and brought inmediate justice for these brave souls who didn't deserve to.

Another way of dealing with school shootings would be to repeal any “gun free school” laws, and tell the teachers unions to get their PC selves out of the way of staff being able to defend themselves.

My youngest daughter went to a Christian school. Several members of the faculty were always armed. I felt far safer with her than than I ever did when her older sister was attending public school.

The Nashville woman did actually send a text to her friend before she carried it out, which said that she knew that she was going to be on the news.
Sad thing is, due to underfunding, it took almost 5hours for a social worker to attempt to make contact with her/him.
Called it a suicide note too.
If she had simply killed herself only her relatives would care about it and nobody else.
And she didn't want to hurt her relatives.
Killing people in a school made sure she'd get that attention from everyone that she wanted to get out of this.
The suicide would have been pointless if noone cares.

Especially at our kid's school where we can keep an eye on them whether they like it or not. There are thousands of combat vets where I live that would jump at the chance to protect the schools.

You can yell fire in a movie theatre when there's an actual fire. Any other utterance would be subject to many infractions including, but not limited to creating a nuisance, instigating a riot, ect.

Kat. It's not banning a group of people. It is correctly labeling a mental illness. 15 years ago I had an episode that got me sent for involuntary mental evaluation. I was diagnosed as totally fine, it was just a bad moment in my life. I can never buy a gun for the rest of my life because of one bad night... I also firmly believe that not treating these people problem as a illness is going to have terrible results for them! I say this with all love in my heart. ❤️

Kat kind of pissed me off with that “don’t deny trans people their fundamental rights” thing. I am pro 2A and believe every American should have the right to defend themselves. But when you go acquire a weapon and they ask do you have any history of mental illness? If the person says “well I am a man trapped inside a woman’s body and I’m currently seeing professionals about it” you probably shouldn’t say “okay here’s your weapon!” It’s not a good look for the pro gun community
I agree. If the person lied about their state of mental health, that is a huge warning sign. The question is, how far is the government involved? THEY do the background checks, right? So, why aren’t we asking how this person “slipped through?” You can’t tell me they only know what is on file. They know a lot about everyone. I don’t say take away the person’s rights, but if someone has mental health problems, is on anti depressants, or has shown erratic behavior then yes, that person should not be allowed a weapon. That’s common sense. That includes everyone, not just trans. But then you have to question the person’s state of being when the self delete rate is over 40%. That can’t be good, and it can’t be good for a person in that percentage to have access to such weapons. Scrutiny is very important here, and the government dropped the ball. The question is, why? A mistake (along with a vast slew of other “mistakes?”) Or is there a more sinister reason?

Kat's take on not banning guns for a group (transgenders) might be wrong since that group (by its nature) is mentally disturbed. One wouldn't say "let's not ban guns for the mentally handicapped" just because they're a verifiable group. Criminals are "a group" and they are not allowed to posses guns.
