Students should graduate when they complete their degree and pay their tuition regardless of their political opinion! Congratulations University of Illinois !

I truly hope the medical and nursing student will reconsider taking their clinical at another hospital outside of Carle Hospital. On the second floor, there is one nursing class at the hospital which violate fire Marshall regulations concerning classroom size and capacity. They also allow 160 students to cram in a Pt’s room to observe a cardiac arrest and shock. One time, on March 8, 2019, a nursing instructor was a no call no show so the charge nurse on the 2nd floor on days, a middle age nurse, one who wear glasses with curly dirty blond hair took the Parkland students to help her stage workplace mobbing and bullying out on a patient who was a retired nurse. Another nurse on the floor who appeared oriental or Philippine nurse to instruct the 160 students if they wished to take a hit on this person over 60, to get in line. They went the patient’s personal possessions such as cell phone and purse while taunting the patient they had this patient’s personal possessions after the charge nurse hid the Pt’s room’s phone. The mocking and taunting continued for 4 hours with the charge nurse blessings. She opened Pt’s doors, her staff’s door and her own door during this mobbing and bullying during visiting hours so everyone could hear the slanderous documentation she made on the Pt’s record, lies like prostitution, selling drugs, while making fun of the Pt’s race and age, etc. The Pt didn’t fall for their game but asked to be discharged instead which was promptly refused. Then she made a mental case of the Pt and had the Pt sent to a psych ward to discredit the Pt. The Pt did follow up and was rejected for care on the grounds the local mental health only take mentally illl patients but did mention all the malicious slander created by this charge nurse on the second floor in the records from the hospital. The hospital records stated the Pt was a man. The 9th floor was not much better when it comes to professional conduct. This workplace mobbing and bullying a Pt conducted by Carle Hospital staff is nothing new here. It’s a long standing culture within the hospital. In the late 90’s, they lost a group of AIDS patients for hideous conduct and their caseworkers had their care transferred to specialist in St Louis. In conclusion, this hospital needs er once held an in service involving workplace mobbing and bullying like animals in a pecking order. The March 8 2019 incident has been spread across this country including nursing unions, and organizations about Carle Hospital. People in my community are refusing care at Carle Hospital, which is a smart move in my opinion. This is a dangerous place for Pt care and its toxic learning environment is non conducive for medical students and nursing students alike. By the way, Parkland College charges double the tuition than Lakeland does and it scores much higher on state board exams. Most hospitals have a contract with the schools which stipulates the nursing instructor has to be present with their student nurses. Instead, the toxic narcissistic day charge nurse on the second floor keeps them rather than sending them home but instead she keeps them as her personal flying monkeys to mob and bully critically ill patients and do her dirty bidding. This is the kind of dangerous trash Carle Hospital has on its staff.

Divesting from an Apartheid State is not an unreasonable demand

And divesting from a terrorist regime (Hamas) IS a reasonable demand?! Don’t forget. Palestine freely elected a terrorists (Hamas) to govern them. Palestine has no moral authority to tell anybody who it can or can’t be allies with.
