Firefighters are so unappreciated for some of the crazier rescues they do.
It's because it really isn't that crazy . And they only do it about once every 3 to 5 years

Plus, how does 4 or 5 people in such a shot period of time all get caught with ammo in their luggage? Something is wrong somewhere! Every single one of them claims that they did not know the ammo was in their luggage. What are the odds? uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Honestly I feel that the us government is urgently trying to get them back or at least a lighter sentence, means they might have something to do with it. They sure don't try that hard for the American citizens so it's a little off

Checked baggage. I do believe in the USA if you declare your firearm you may put it in checked baggage. Along with knives and alcohol.

Checked bags still go through an xray machine. Radiation does not pass through ammo, so the ammo would've lighten up like a Christmas tree.

I think the us government needs to step up and claim responsibility for the people facing charges for the loose ammunition in their luggage. Their bags should have never gotten past our own security screens.
I hope that they stay in jail. Respect other nations, Americans. Stop being arrogant. Foreigners suffer discrimination in the US.

So, should the US government also claim responsibility for gun violence? Car accidents? That's a silly argument... People should be responsible for their actions, not the governments. You are given the liberty to own guns, so you need to be responsible for them too.
@@Racso-tb4bsthe bag was used for a camping trip or something. The ammunition was forgotten in the bag. Same way you might forget a pocket knife or something in a little pocket in a bag.

turbulence at 37 k feet is not common.
During turbulence doesn’t the pilot usually tell everyone to make sure they fastened their seatbelts? So very sad.
I guess it was very sudden, only seconds warning to buckle up according to the reports. Scary! I was in some severe turbulence during a T-storm over Utah with large hail battering the plane. It was terrifying!
That was my question too..why weren't they buckled up
@@HopeS68They can know to buckle up sometimes only after. Imagine someone is walking the aisle to their seat or in the bathroom. Folks will takeoff their seatbelt simply because they can too until required to put it back on.
I stay strapped in , I wear life vest when boating , I wear safety glasses, smoke alarms and tub mats,...what is so hard about safety measures.?

Please everyone, if seated, there is NO excuse not to have one's seat belt fastened. Having owned a tour company, I repeatedly stressed this to travelers, and sadly I still have to. That said, it is truly tragic what happened.
Having a house where a full grown dog could get up into a wall from beneath would really concern me.

Does anyone else find it just a little weird that 5 different American tourists all going to the same place made it through American TSA with ammo? That's one of the things that every bag gets xrayed for.

This just did. I heard & saw Trump's Contraception comments LIVE- Then he posted that it was 'fake'. That just isn't going to work for any of us paying attention.
Thank goodness the plane had an excellent pilot flying the aircraft bc, it could of been a lot worse. Also when a passenger boards an aircraft they understand the danger in flying even though hitting turbulence is a rare event it can and obviously does happen. I'm glad the passengers will be okay. Fays a little to curious. lol But, what a little sweet heart.

You’re a US citizen in Turks & Caicos and you hear the story of the first US citizen arrested for having ammunition in their luggage. Can you explain how you don’t check your luggage for ammo before you leave? Now there’s an additional 4 US citizens facing a possible 12 yr prison sentence because for whatever reason, they neglected to check their luggage. How it got through TSA is another sad story, so unless you’re a basketball star or someone famous, prepare yourself for 12 yrs in prison. Nobody’s fault but your own! If the US government can get you out, I’m happy for you!

Is it dumb to not thoroughly check your luggage before travelling? Yes. Does it make you a criminal?
