(Reposting from another review vid): I'm really liking mine. I finally tested it with a chronograph today. With the stock 400 gr bolts including the 100 g field tip.... readings of 414, 416, 415 fps. Wow. As advertised and not inflated by cheating using 350 grain arrows or something... Putting on a 125 grain field tip dropped it to 404, 404, 405. Putting on a 150 grain field tip dropped it to 395, 396, 395 FYI.
Thanks for the video. I got the same crossbow after buying the s1 turbo and then returning it after the 415 came out. You can definitely tell the extra speed difference and 200$ cheaper. So far I can group out to 40 yards but have not shot beyond. At 40 I am getting 3” group. I ordered some custom bolts that are spine aligned so we will see what it does with those.
Set your corn pile or your feeder 30 to 35 yards from your ground blind or tree stand and with a 390 to 450 fps crossbow they can’t duck the arrow. With a broadside shot you will find the deer dead within 50 yards.
The close up of your inner scope ...doesn't look like your eye relief is set ...onthe very back of scope turn ring until cross hairs come into view.....sorry if its already set but couldn't really tell from video...i bought this same bow from bass pro...shot out to 70 yards in 10 yd increases....shot bullseys. Very accurate...
I just bought this bow today with 1 day 10% off deal and $75 off hunting deal. My 13 year old begged me to wait til he’s over tomorrow to unbox it. What kind of Broadheads are you planning to use?
It’s very dangerous to load an arrow the way you did it. Keep your hand away from the front of the point, so that if it accidentally fired, it would not go through your hand…. I also bought the Viper S 415 from Cabela’s about a month ago, but have not shot it yet…. I have a Barnett XP 400 and just started shooting it last week…. Going to use it to check arrows for spine alignment, then will glue in aluminum HP nock inserts for the Viper….. I’m plan to hunt with the Viper … it’s been about 20 years since I killed a deer. Good luck and stay safe.
I shoot the 415 and the venom x the venom x was my choice check out my channel and you will see why. The venom x is very accurate and not as loud. I also bought the Ravin r10x and the Ravin 29x, all three of them Robin Hood arrows at 40 yards the 415 will not do that it consistently shoots low. I will not shoot at a deer over 40 yards and 30 yards is my range of choice. No ducking the arrow at 30 yards.

Ya I have all Ten Point arrows so far and have only had one that shoots a little bit off compared to the rest. Good Luck!

I picked up the g5 broadheads from Scheels. Generally I use muzzy 3 blade but I wanted to try a mechanical one for the crossbow

Can you link the tri-pod you’re using.
It is the bog pod death grip. You can get them at cabelas or like a scheels

Yes I have noticed it does shoot low
Adjust your elevation four clicks high at 40 yards will help a lot!
My is deadly accurate at 40 yds. Just put down a 365 pound bore at 50 yds perfect shot
Loading your bolt with your hand/fingers over the tip isn't a good idea. Come on man!
