Thanks so much, you explain well. Yesterday my Mom and other family were talking about a friend with dementia who walks off and then can't find his way home. We talked that we'd get an airtag for my Mom if she ever suffered from the disease he does.
0:41 well, only if youre in a densely populated area like a city or town. if youre in a more rural or suburban area though theres no garuntee youll find it
Yeah I live on the mountain. I would like track my cat but I guess it won’t work well
Nice, and simple video. Right to the point! Thanks, God bless you! 👍🏼🔥😊
Thanks so much! You have answered my question quickly and thoroughly!
Great explanation! I need this. Amazing technology. Ingenious.
Excellent video. Now it makes perfect sense
Thank you for the vid. I was wondering how it worked. You are a brilliant great looking man. Keep it up.
Thank you!!
Thank you Max
Have one attached to my dog! Don't plan on her getting lost but it's best to be prepared!
Also, should be noted that these cannot be used to track someone against their will. If an airtag that doesn't belong to you is following you around (thrown in your bag or car by some one else), you'll be notified that your location is being tracked. There have already been several cases where exes are tracking and harming their former lovers.
Oh really? If I don't have an iPhone I will be notified?
Will Steve Job call me and tell me I am being tracked?
Smart...
@@a.k.3659 Saint Steve will only protect you if you're in the iphone club 😉
@@a.k.3659 No, you'll need an Ouija board app for Steve Jobs to contact you. The iPhone still may not work since you might be holding it incorrectly, as per SJ.
the best clip to explain how apple airtag work
Quick question, does the tag still send its location if the nearby iPhone has turned its location services off?
What if there is no iPhone around? For example somewhere on island, Its getting ussles
It will show the last known location it pinged from when it had any contact with an iPhone close by, if you know the general area you can also proximity scan for it and it will lead you to the direction of it.
@@MaxsTech what if people who have iphone, but the location and mobile data turned off?
does it still ping?
I love the shirt. Don’t tell merr
Pretty good and useful piece of hardware. Does Samsung or other Android phone companies have a similar product?
Tile is a very popular similar product for any phone and performs similarly.
I thought the airtags just random connect to public WiFi. That's GPS tracker does work right?
So if i put one in my car, and it’s stolen, will the thief be notified that an airtag is tracking them? Would it help if i find a good hiding spot?
It won't help if the thief finds a good hiding spot for your car.
you can take out the speaker thingy that makes a sound. There are a lot of videos that show you how to do it.
Finally, a video that explains how it works and not how to use it 👍
Watching this from a not-knowing individual at airtags before. Airtags does not use internet in the first place. It uses Iphones internet through bluetooth.
So AirTags do not work in rural areas?
How about battery life?
Stated to last 1 year, you can pop the cover and replace it. It’s one of the standard little circle tab batteries
so an airtag in a jungle or in middle of dessert will never work agian?
If someone walks within Bluetooth range it will ping its location through their phone, like wise whoever dropped it there would have its location pinged already so it would still show its last known location on your phone.
The myth that you cannot track a person using an Airtag if they don’t use an iPhone still exists.
So basically that shit don’t work in India
Not a mention on how they work. Not that it's that difficult. It's a plagetized version or Lora that ham radio guys have been using for years. Except the only nodes are apple users. And the power output sucks. For those of you that choose to live on top of each other, it probolly works good. For the rest of us, it will be a nothing burger.
These beep the thief though that their being tracked.part of the anti tracking of other people, but not good if your item has been stolen
So they must have a blue tooth on?
So it's useless if it's in a remote area where there's no iphone or iphone connected to the internet
Theoretically if you were alone in a remote forest or something then yea, but you also could get a phone and walk around if you know the general area because as soon as it’s in range of another phones Bluetooth you’ll get pinged
So that’s what’s draining my iPhone X’s battery, someone lost multiple AirTags near me.
Thats not how it works
@@garrysingh8387 It was a joke. But still, I think that's exactly how it works, a phone communicating with bluetooth devices, getting location data, and transferring it over the internet constantly, seems light a lot of battery goes into that.
Thank you
Yeah right. I couldn’t track my luggage that was 300 feet away. They are shite.
So you’re supposed to know everyone in your area that has an iPhone and ask them if they’ve been pinged? What in the hell?
It uses their phone on the back end, they never even know it happens. You don’t need to know them, their phone will just auto ping the location so you can look it up.
You likely have helped someone locate an AirTag and never known, your phone just picked up the location tag and sent the info to Apple who transmitted it back to the owner.
Demolitionranch tshirt
Title is misleading -- this doesn't explain how you get pinged with no internet (no wifi, no cellular data) on your iphone or the nearby iphone.
You get pinged based off another iPhone user in a close enough proximity to the AirTag using their Bluetooth. No internet or cell service required on either end. Not hard to understand.
@@ladawg1 And how will that work if they have no internet or cell service either?
@@3maisons do you mean if they’re on a remote island with no cell service or internet? Because I can’t see that being an issue if you have Verizon, they claim to have cell coverage for over 99% of America.
@@ladawg1 Your title claimed to explain how it works with no Internet. So how does it work with no Internet whatsoever? There are places in North America with no coverage. There are cell phone subscribers that do not subscribe to data. How does that work?
@@3maisons the answer is that it doesn't work, ur reading to deep into this buddy
So it wont work in north korea
….what???!!!!
Simple & effective explanation 🫡
