    An instrument rating would do you good. Takes all the anxiety around clouds clearances out of the equation, except extreme precipitation and icing.

      Agreed. I passed the written IFR test and now waiting for plane to be out of the avionics shop so I can do the practical training. Thank you for commenting and watching.

      @@TheRealAviatorBen good luck! I’ve had mine for about 6 months and makes flying and planning so much easier. I use it primarily for marginal vfr conditions to get above the clouds and back down and through them, but have also shot approaches where I’ve broken out at 600 and 700 feet.
