Basketball shoes shouldn't have a whole lot of space in the toebox and forefoot area. you need the shoe to hold your forefoot so that your foot is contained on the footbed to prevent injurty to your foot and your leg (calf, knees, etc) Wearing a shoe a size too big without two socks is asking for trouble and lacing them really loose is also asking for it.
@6:25 looks like you could be in for a catastrophic ankle sprang..smh the soles are too high and the outrigger doesn't stick enough. The foot should never go over the sole like that its "Dangerous"

Evan Yee what I see is a lot of heel space. I got wide feet too and you should get toe space instead of heel space with wide feet. It simply means the size you wear is too big and the heel space looks way bigger than going up one size. It significant increases the risk of injuries.
