Ive definitely been getting heel pain after playing ball. I have never had that pain before. I am now 42. It takes about 2-3 days for it to go away with rest, but once I play again it comes back. Ive been using lots of different shoes, but it doesn’t matter. I can see how this would effect an athlete that has to play everyday. Old age never loses😂

Wouldn't having the heal sink lower than forefoot create a negative offset thus putting more pressure on the plantar fascia? I've had other shoes that did this and my foot doc at the Syracuse Va hospital said that could be one potential causes along with flat feet coupled with inadequate arch support.

Have both the 19 and 20 and have been playing in both recently. The 20's only problem is traction on a dusty floor. The new traction pattern collects dust easily and traction loss is significant without wiping. Fit and feel are fine, and it is of course a good bit lighter than the 19s.

I'm no foot doctor but my last job i was walking on concrete for 8-9 hours a day. That being said I learned that after so many miles you need to replace your shoes. I was hooked on ultraboosts but for me after about a year the shoe's boost would flatten out a bit and not squish as much. This would cause tons of foot pain and it wouldn't go away until I replaced my shoes.
Then I thought maybe I will try new balance 990v4. I wore those to work and after about 6 months my feet were killing me. So me trying to save a few $ and not buy a new pair of shoes I decided to replace the insoles which made the shoes somewhat more comfortable. I used the shoes for another 2-3 months before they hurt too much to wear and I had to get something new.
Basically get yourself a new pair of shoes at least once a year. If you are more active then probably 2 or more pairs per year.

I only have worn only a pair of LeBron’s and that’s witness 3. The shoes squeezed the sides of the arch of my foot every time I worn it. 30 minutes into wearing it it starts to give a numbing pain on the back of my lower leg and a hour later I start to feel a pulling pain back there. Perhaps the 20’s are doing that to him?

Having played basketball for nearly 20 yrs, it's a given that injuries will affect your jump shot. As a normal athlete, rest is the obvious answer. Plain and simple: Lebron pride needs to take a step back and allow the body to do what it does so he doesn't risk making this a long-term ailment, even if he has something to prove in what might be his last season; else it will be his last season.
