My favourite song of theirs is Northern England or Bitterness, this new one is good after first listen. The singer sure can sing and the gituarist is fucking wonderful.
Noelia, I don't believe that it is being referenced as a positive thing... The song captures a wide range of what has been wonderful and horrible about England over the ages, and I believe that this represents part of the latter.
@@scottweighart4565 yes, I believe so now, too. It is a song that always makes me cry and it moves me because of my love for the English culture and my own country at once.
@@scottweighart4565 you do realise the Belgrano was sunk because there was this little thing called the Falklands war going on. Even the captain of the Belgrano said it was justified.
fantastic record - easily as good as their 80s material - going to see them in two weeks in Liverpool - just can't wait!
A very moving song and video, thanks. Lots of bittersweet memories. From an 'exiled' scouser who hasn't been there since '89.
Beautiful song for a beautiful bird!
i love this band, i'm just glad they are doing new stuff!! i already got my 10" copy a couple of months back!
Fantastic!!!...I just love it.....I want more & more please...
Hope to see you again here in Cebu, Philippines Paul and the WS.

A great track, sounds like pure Wild Swans.
Fascinating - the only thing I'd ever heard from them before was Revolutionary Spirit back in the 1980s, which I thought was really good. So is this!
Brilliant. Just absolutely brilliant
Great music... from the legendary wild swans... Too bad I never got to see them perform live way back in the 80's
'Bringing Home The Ashes' is one of my Desert Island Discs.......this is a cracking song. Not sure about the 'Liquid Mercury' single yet...hmmm...
Thank you ,Yes.
@PedroGuevarra this song is from 2009 ;-), but yeah know what you mean
Excellent jet. Quicker climb than an F15, and the ELL was built in the 1950s.
Great work!
It's a great comeback, indeed!
Trying desperately to feel patriotic by putting this on, but still wanna move to Oz or Canada right now!!!!!
Epic and very Scouse x
i like the Lightning jet part!
anthemic and unashamedly English
Mark 1 Lightning of 74 ( Flying Tiger) Squadron , how good would that be to see flying now ?

Alternative national anthem.
What happened to the world?. While the crap music receives millions of hits such wonders fail or twenty-five thousand.
Sounds like iLiKETRAiNS & BSP: any more info?
Love The Wild Swans and love English culture. I am an English Literature teacher, but I'm Argentine and I don't like the reference to the Belgrano...

I think it refers to the incident as a shameful one in English history.
This is a bit good.
hip hop gangsters as agents of decay? :))
Too right. Complete scum.
Very weird clip
