R.I.P
Here I am 5 years later. This still chokes me up.
One of those posts that sparkles and makes not your day, but your life. Twice a week, I take my Honda 750 into the mountains of W Japan. Heaven Up Here in one ear, under the helmet. Isolation, blue skies and moody mountains. Utter de Freitas territory. What becomes of people when they have gone? No one can answer, but the finest drumming ever, in my earphone, that`ll do.
Beautiful. Made me cry
Sums up the 80's.....Gives me the chills......I may be old now but sure am glad I grew up back then......
One of the most gifted and beautiful men that ever graced our lives....RIP Pete x
Probably the best musical tribute. It's sublime.
I love Wild Swans and I loved Pete from the Bunnymen. I was really transfixed and I am in tears.
Brilliant! Mad Pete bouncing from cloud to cloud through the delicate mist of heaven.
Thanks for posting, just amazing all of the changes in ones lifes journey. How I miss the 80's,glad I grew up then than now.R.I.P. To the ones that havn't made it this long and peace to the ones still here.
Watched this for years. Thank you for this video - I always come back and watch this and expect I will forever.
Pete de Freitas - still my favourite drummer, even after all these years.
Fantastic tribute.
mine too Pete De Freitas
Brilliant Tribute To A Brilliant Artist
I am silent. I never saw words and images go this well together.
There must bee a very sensitive peron behind this, to understand every little feel-detail. Sense of meaning.
I am speechless, still. I was afraid i lost this clip i didn´t save it last time. Now i will.
I send it to my lovely girl.
All love,
K
Thank you parkhill62, for uploading this wonderful video and beautiful music,it reminds me of lost friends and happier days.
Quite beautiful and gives a real sense of time past. I was around a little and it says more than words alone.
thanks for this. Elegiac. Bunnymen were always The Bunnymen when Pete drove the beat. Impossible to describe how great they were with Pete at the helm. Driving the rhythm, the rhythm of our lives. Great memories.
Nostalgic
Thank you greatly for taking the time to put this together and share. Beautifully done.
This always grabs me and takes me back to my era. Bunnymen at their height and Pete driving it.
Breaks my heart
The new wave never grows old. That is why we called it New Wave. Stay safe everyone.

So poignant. Socially historic snap shot of 1980's indie scene. Beautifully eloquent poetry

masterpiece, alot of effort must have went into this,it was well worth it.
cheers,parkhill62
Absolute wonder.
Genius.
I saw It’s Immaterial in Liverpool, don’t ask me when, but coincidentally went for a slash when Pete Defetas went and I casually tried to check him out at the urinal, like you do. He clocked me and graciously turned to allow me a glance at his manhood. I mean, the fella was blessed in many ways.
This should be the official video.
Lovely. Hey Paul, hope you're well!
very nice.
✊🌹❤️
Hope you have the full lyrics . Would appreciate very much. Thanks!
Please please do the lyrics
Where is this from? It's not on my Winter cd.
It was originally released as the 'b' side of the "English Electric Lightning" 10" in early 2009. It's also on the expanded 2013 CD and vinyl reissue of "Coldest Winter".
let's here it for aloof
if the drummer wasn't the beat would be different
porfa quiero la letra de esto gracias
