When Doves Cry (Prince and the Revolution Cover - Reimagined)

When Doves Cry is the first cover song we've done for which we were also granted a license to create a full music video! We tried our best to "reimagine" this song as a contemporary/prog-pop rock tune. We dug in for the appropriate instrumentation in order to deliver the message in a new and hopefully refreshing way. Since we knew Solaria would be used for the vocal track in order to deliver the most dynamic and technical performance possible, we decided that it also made sense to tweak the lyrics in order to tell this story from a female point-of-view. In the end, we are very happy with how this turned out, and we're hopeful that Prince is not rolling over in his grave :)
