@@johnmichaelson9173 It's not a blockbuster flick, but I definitely recommend watching Dagon. If you watch the trailer you might be disappointed, but I promise you if you watch it through thick and thin from beginning to end and you invest in it wholeheartedly, you will not be disappointed. It's lovecraftian. Cthulhu /Dagon ...fear of the unknown and all that jazz.

The original was a classic mixture of comedy sci-fi & darkness not too mention without the dwarfs being the time bandits it doesn't feel right 😂
Also being one of the biggest mind bogglers of my childhood, what a weird movie and even if the original wasn't good, a remake isn't necessary, what's next for a remake, Brazil?

It's a pity they are ruining Gladiator. What is wrong with movie makers these days? Do they not have anyone with an imagination and the ability to write? They mess up the old movies and the newly produced are pure garbage. What a disaster!
It's the same problem with games and even politics, people scared to try something different or new, so they keep rebooting old shit or ideas and their lack of imagination shows in the quality of what they make, they leave trying something different to small groups.
Time Bandits and Hellboy look terrible! Either leave great movies alone, or redo them properly! Better yet, come up with some new ideas!

There are a couple of well crafted and useful channels on youtube, but 99% is all the evidence in the world as to why the entertainment industry is in fact an industry made up of talented, trained, and seasoned professionals.
Why its decided to fall on its face over the last 20 years is beyond me.

as far as Gladiator 2 goes, I don't know if its possible to recapture the magic of the first one. What made the first one so great was the story, and it's difficult to directly expand on a story that was so well told and concluded. That being said it looks like it could be a good action movie if nothing else.
Hellboy will probably be the only one I watch. The last one in Rome looked interesting until they showed the two dudes in the tub.😕
