I bought the purity face wash and am blown away at how amazing it is. I have very sensitive skin and the first two days (four times) I used it I had to overload on the moisturizer bc I thought it dried my skin out. After that my skin has cleared up so much! My skin is naturally oily and this has helped to level out the excess oils and removes blemishes fast! Thanks for the recommendation jaclyn!!!!

+mojojojojo you can definitely try jojoba. See what works best with your skin. I definitely recommend getting a face oil with antioxidants and anti-aging benefits!

I am so happy to see an updated skincare video! I love love love your videos! You explain everything so well and are hilarious. I work at Ulta, so I really have to pay attention to my skincare and makeup. You have no idea how much your videos have helped me. Especially with skincare. I started using Mario Badescu products and argan oil. OMG, the difference in my skin. I have insanely oily skin and the argan oil has made my skin so much less oily. Its a magical product.

Hey Jaclyn, since you use olive oil on your body/face, I just want to point out that olive oil is not regulated like say coconut oil or almond oil. A lot of olive oils on the market say that they are "pure" olive oil and it is not true. Most olive oil sold on a mass scale is either mixed with sunflower oil, soybean oil or thickeners, and this really effects the performance of the oil. You are not getting all the benefits that you could be getting. (I'm just saying this because I work at an olive oil tasting bar and I know the difference between good and bad oils.) If you want to get the best results out of your olive oil, try going to a tasting bar/store that encourages you to try the oil and has an actual "Crush Date", which means the date that the oil was made. The fresher, the better. :)

Try googling fresh local olive oil store or something like that. The place I work at is called Liquid Gold & All Things Olive, they ship all over Canada but I'm not sure about the U.S. (If that's where you live, I'm just assuming haha.) The most important thing when choosing an olive oil is to look for a Crush Date (when it was made), that it was first cold-pressed or cold-extracted, and the type of the olive, some popular kinds are Arbequina, Koroneiki, and Hojiblanca.
Also, ANY olive oil that is labelled "Pure" or "Light" is almost always mixed with another type of oil OR very low quality oil.

I would LOVE to see an updated skincare routine and products video. I have looked at other youtubers, but would really love to hear your input. Most of the other tubers are only recommending products that are minimally $75 each, and you usually do a great job of giving alternatives for products like that.

I use the YVES ROCHER day/night creme that has all kinds of oils in it, and I have oily skin!

Hey Jaclyn - just wanted to say thanks so much for the Origins recommendation! I tried the sample sizes of both at first and fell in love! I just bought the full sized jars and I couldn't be happier :D I never would have looked at them if it weren't for you. The under-eye cream is great - it really does brighten up the area and the combination of the two makes my skin feel healthy and luxurious! I now recommend these to everyone. I have oily skin, and the moisturizer isn't too oily at all!

I was thinking of using the organic sugar with lemon once a week or so to exfoliate but not sure if I need to since I got the Mia 2. What would you suggest. I have normal to dry skin. Dry skin in areas around nose but it's getting better since ive been really good about my skin routine.

thank you for this! i'm so dry & have a tough time finding products for my skin. i have the josie maran cleaner & oil & i loooove them! my skin definitely a lot better & not as dry. going to try some of these as well because my skin isn't EXACTLY where i want it to be yet.
