I am against Mineral Oil. I have seen my friends, family & personally had break outs, clogged pores, rashes, etc from mineral oil. It is used as a filler in cheap products because it is such a cheap oil. you will not find mineral oil as a filler in a natural skin care product, which is how I try to take care of my skin...with natural products. I will not use products regularly with mineral oil in them. if you choose to rub yourself down with mineral oil every day, thats on you girl! Dont complain when your skin looks like you have been dragged through the desert. xoxo -----

I noticed on Morphe's website that their palettes use mineral oil as its third ingredient is that the same case with the eyeshadows in your favorites palette??

for some reason I find that the shadows in her palette seem to be higher quality.. i'm not sure about the mineral oil but I know theyre amazing xo
Yeah, there are actually a lot of high end products that use mineral oil as well. For instance, La Mer, the high end skincare line, also uses mineral oil in their moisturizer and their moisturizer is well-known for it's great results and popularity. Even celebrities use this brand. So, I definitely think the safety aspect of the ingredient just depends on how much mineral oil is being used in a product, regardless of whether it's being used for makeup or skincare. :)
Paris Rodriguez It doesn't bother everyone's skin. I just find it odd that she is promoting a product with mineral oil because she has said in the past that it does not agree with her skin.

I just watched this video and saw your comment and even though it's two months old I thought I could help! I LOVE to use Tartes Maracuja oil as my face moisturizer but it is a little pricey. I also love to use olive oil to remove my eye makeup- it doesn't leave the skin greasy and it takes off mascara really well. As far as makeup brands Tarte is a brand that is highend and they are one of the most natural makeup brands around and at the drugstore physicians formula uses amazing ingredients. I hope this helps and I would love if you subscribed to my channel so I could answer some more of your questions!

I have combo skin too and it helps me so much just be sure to concentrate the product on your driest areas. It works great for me and I hope it does for you too :)

Ive never used one before, and I personally like a full coverage foundation due to ache spots and scars. ALSO Im kinda combo skin, I get oily throughout the day BUT foundations tend to cling to my old ache spots and make them look dry. help me !!!

Hey Jaclyn! I work as a lifeguard and always finding her ways to protect my hair! If you didn't know you can use a hair mask or conditioner in your hair before you go into a chlorinated pool. All you have to do if wet your hair, put some conditioner and you're good to go! When you wash it out, your hair is so smooth :) hope this helps you or anyone else!
LOVING all of your essentials, girl! You're so beautiful as always. You should do a hair tutorial using that wand and how you get those curls. ALSO, would love to see how you put on the chanel bronze universal. [with what kind of brush you think works best for cream bronzers, ect.]
I just have to say that I absolutely love all of your videos. I don't remember which one I watched where you mentioned that you have a hair calic that doesn't always cooperate with you. I wanted to recommend Aveda light elements texture cream. It really tames those fly aways. I love this product because you only need a little bit and it's really light and doesn't make your hair look greasy. I don't know if you've used any of Aveda's products but I love all of them. They are all natural.

Coconut oil is actually an amazing sunscreen- technically the 'SPF' is low but it's all my family ever uses. My little boy is 3 now & has NEVER been burned by the sun. We have a pool & he's in it everyday & all we've ever used was coconut oil. It's amazing stuff- glad you love it too!

Although I didn't have your same experience with MDT, I can agree that there are definitely better self tanners out there. Have you ever tried the St. Tropez dark bronzing mousse? I've been using it for about 6 months and I am obsessed. I don't have time to lay out in the sun so I just use the St. Tropez maybe twice (mostly once) and I'm good! It is a little pricey but if you're looking for a good one you should try it out!

First i gotta say i love your videos. I always learn something new. my favorite summer product is St. Ives Apricot Scrub the jar version, not the tube. I always use it before i self tan, it makes you feel soft and smooth. Plus its not expensive

cosmedix brand makes one called reflect that is 100% titanium dioxide. It comes in spray form and you can turn any moisturizer, foundation, etc into a sunscreen. You can also carry it with you and spray it directly on your skin. It is THE BEST sunscreen!

I was wondering if you'd feel comfortable just wearing that, some powder and bronzer say to work or is the coverage too sheer?? I was hoping it mimics a foundation!

Never been one for drugstore makeup but decided to checkout the revlon color stay foundation. It's great. Thanks for the recommendation , light weight and doesn't feel greasy or heavy perfect for summer. Oh and million dollar tan I'd amazing!!
Have you done a "how to" on what all the different letters and numbers mean when picking a foundation? Like N=neutral, C=cool, W=warm, etc. There's so much to picking the right shade and knowing what shade we are that it's intimidating to buy new foundations. I went to see about the Revlon Whipped foundation but realized, I have no idea where to start in picking my shade.
Since mentioning the Tiki bronzer I had this overwhelming urge to get it. I am SO happy I got it. Seriously. Thanks so much Jaclyn!! It's such a lovely candlelight kind of glow. Hugs!

Yes! There is at least one drugstore cream bronzer, Sonia Kashuk has it in 2 shades I believe.
Maui Babe Browning lotion is amazing!!! It does have a little mineral oil but its made with macadamia and Kukui nut oil and Kona coffee extract. There is also an indoor formula that has no mineral oil. You can order it off their website or get it at Ulta.
The Organix Moroccan sea salt spray!! Love it for the beach/pool/boat. Smells better than the Not Your Mothers Brand

My uncle who's a hair stylist always told me to spray a leave in conditioner or don't rinse all my conditioner out of my hair if I was going swimming. Your hair holds on to the moisture of the conditioner rather than soaking up the harsh chemicals from the pool.
