Yes finally a solution to accessibility alive on Samsung Galaxy phones. My understanding is Knox turns it off periodically and on an non-rooted phone there is no way to disable Knox. Now that this has been added to Tasker keep it on with apps this is amazing!
Since 2015 I cannot live without Tasker! For me it's part of Android!

@@joaomgcd Pretty much all of them. But to give an example, there's one profile+task that uses AutoNotification to show how far a download have progressed in Firefox that displays a very thin line at the very top of my screen. But it's kinday hacky since it only uses dashes ( 20% = x20 "-"), but now I'm thinking of just using text as a notification icon.
And I'm definitely gonna use that WiFi QS tile (I'm on Android 13).

Yeah, I was using an emoji icon pack for some of my task icons, but it was kind of a pain to have to scroll through all of the icons to pick one. Being able to type the emoji from my keyboard should be faster and easier.

Awesome! But I observed some hitches after I updated.
1. The flash alert is not completely displaying on the screen as it used to be on the older versions (at least full the screen or almost)...In case of displaying a larger data. --- [edited] --- Oh, I got this fixed by taking advantage of the "Tasker Layout" in the flash alert.
2. On the older version of tasker, I used Autoresponder WA as plugin and worked perfectly but actions concerning the plugin are no more working anymore after the update. For example, disable or enable a rule...or anything concerning Autoresponder WA.

Great update with some few noticeable challenges.
1. Applying changes takes longer now, followed by 25 to 35 iterations of "Tasker was granted Superuser rights" each time. This flash behavior happens randomly as well.
2. New "Device Unlock Failed" event doesn't work on my Tecno Camon 15.
3. Tasker's UI is fully functional upon entering wrong unlock code. Only shows "Error: Bad Code." then sometimes a series of "Tasker was granted Superuser rights", then the app is completely usable after few seconds of lag.

The new update is great and excited about the new features added. Keep up the great work. I do have a Tasker question about speech function's in Tasker and their availability in the near future.
As of the 01/05/23 I saw that Googles Conversational Actions will be closed down (sunseted as they call it) on June 13th 2023, and I wanted to ask if/how this will affect speech functions in Tasker?
Will we all still be able to use any of the "Say" and "Autovoice" functions or anything else that uses Google speech services, and if not, are there any plans in place to replace these with something else? It's a little concerning because myself, and I'm sure many others, rely on these speech functions to make our tasks/profiles/scenes work and could be a major headache changing our tasks or losing use of them altogether.
So any insight into this would really be appreciated, not just from me, but for all the other Tasker and "Auto..." apps users too.

The "Say" actions will be unaffected. What will go away is the AutoVoice on Google Home service, meaning that you can't talk to AutoVoice through Google Home or Google Assistant anymore :(

That's just Android restrictions. Tasker doesn't control that. That's why I added a new option "Tasker Layout". Please try that. THanks

What are these SECONDARY and SETTINGS apps you show? I don't have them on my Galaxy S10 and can't find them in play store.
The Secondary one is just a helper launcher app for Tasker that you can trigger tasks with. It's integrated into Tasker. The Tasker Settings one is here: github.com/joaomgcd/TaskerSettings/releases/tag/v1.5.0

Not sure if you accept requests, but I would love an overhaul of the Set Wallpaper function or at the very least add the ability to just have it fit the image to the screen. I don't want to crop my photos for the wallpaper, I want them to fit to the screen even if that means black background showing, but this isn't really possible currently.

You can't do that directly, but you can re-create notifications if you save their details.

Very hard to do since it's in android system backend only
You can try to enable ADB Wifi for Logcat in preferences but then you have to re-enable it on every boot.

To make sure Tasker and the AutoApps run in the foreground please check here: tasker.joaoapps.com/userguide/en/faqs/faq-problem.html#00
Pay special attention to the location part. If Tasker doesn't have permission to get location in the background it might not work correctly, so disable and re-enable the location permission and make sure that you allow Tasker to always access it.

Yeah, sometimes your system will fail to re-activate it when updating an app. Try rebooting to fix it. Hope this helps.
