Tasker is an Android app that automates the performance of tasks or sets of actions based on a defined condition or context. That sounds complicated though. Let's take a closer look at this mobile app.

You explained 0.1% Tasker can do. It's already awesome.
I use it for over 10 years.
Where is the best place to go for user tips? Thanks.
R/tasker
Sounds like IFTTT.....
@@melankayaNo it's so much more powerful I tried to use IFTTT first since it was free couldn't get it to do what I wanted got tasker and could instantly make what I wanted
@@jeffcalhoun598 Google, and look for vids. There's a guy that soes "Tasker 101" titled vids that are pretty good.
There are tasks that Android no longer shows Tasker to run (like changing network mode or killing apps) because Google likes to make their products more and more limited. But on Samsung phones Bixby Routines can do it. So you can still do it by telling Tasker to run a notification and then setting Bixby Routines to react to those notifications.
Hello everyone,
I'm looking for a way to switch the screen of my Android phone to black and white according to the time of day. I've tried creating a Tasker program for this, but I haven't been able to get it to work properly.
Would anyone be able to help me by providing detailed instructions or a similar example Tasker program? I'm currently using a Google Pixel 4A running Android 12.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Android has settings app that you can use to configure a time period for your phone to go blacn and white. Just open settings and search for "digital wellbeing". No need for tasker if yours is a simple use case.

Voice shredding.... Just grates!
I have a S23 Ultra running android 14 One UI 6.0 Tasker repeatedly tells me to re-enable permissions previously approved. Help please!!!
Make sure tasker is not optimized

Hi! For your technical concern, you may directly get in touch with their support: tasker.joaoapps.com/
I think its free now. I used it for blocking android system notification which cannot be disabled on Android 13 Samsung 5 ui. I dont understand how to make any automation, its really a high learning curve. I may just wanna create reminders or i wwould just want to automate phone to silent mode when the phone is on pocket, though these features should be given by default in the android phonees. give me suggestions how to do those things.
It's not.
ok, the notification blocker is free, but not the tasker itself. its modified app is also not available on the modified app site@@djfcb
I like your hair😅😂
Is it safe though.
safer then google play services, which has all permissions on ur phone basically rootkit
By yourself beautiful
If people aren't going to swtich for less expensive phones offering better performance and better cameras, then tasker isn't gonna do it.
Maybe next time include 1 or 2 practical implementations that you use yourself. This way viewers might have an "aha" moment.
This was more of a barrage of info of which none sticked because I was too distracted by your beauty. But anyways.
Allow me to follow my own advice and give my own "aha" moment.
I have setup custom DNS/VPN (pi-hole/wireguard) that protects me from advertisements and accidently going to sites not fit for human consumption (such as CNN and foxnews). This is setup in my home network. When I go outside, Tasker will notice that I am disconnected from my home WiFi SSID. It will then automatically connect to WireGuard VPN Tunnel. When I get back home and connect to the WiFi SSID specified, it will disconnect from the Tunnel again such that I maintain optimal speed and can interact with my home devices (such as screen-casting to my TV which works via wifi/ip).
Now I don't have to remember turning it on/off anymore, and am always protected whether I'm at home or outside.
@@Paretozen Nice one
You spend 1 minute and 16 seconds in the intro and other useless information in a 5 minute video. You maam are truly the most smartest creature to bear witness on this planet.
Hair 🤪
Thought I was the only one to notice that .. 😂
Most people have hair don't see an issue
You are beautiful btw 😌😌
