That Cabin is impressive! Wish we could have had a tour of that equally impressive looking Outhouse. They compliment each other in different ways! Liked how smooth and easy the saw went thru the logs! Looking forward to another of your adventures.

I’d live there. U can always use a composite toilet. A hot and cold water line to the cabin using the river as a source of water with a water cleaning system that needs little to no maintenance. Solar power would be my choice for power becuz it’s environmentally friendly.
What a wonderful place! Think one's gonna lack just a horse, a 4x4 pick up truck (or a nice T3 like yours) and a cowboy hat to dream being like a luxury mountain man. Would i stay there? Hell, yeah..!
I feel the same way, that huge window in the living room taking in all the light and giving an amazing view of the river. They did something right when constructing this cabin and the sens of connection you get to the surroundings was unreal🤩

We (me & Hugo) did a camper trip around Norway (stunning country, love your aquavit) though in winter, so couldn’t really get too north of Bergen. That said, your gf wears such lovely sweaters (there’s a teal & mustard yellow ones in particular) where did she get them from? Keep travelling, keep inspiring and both be well xx
@@SimonBraeck Oh nooo, whats up with Mr Norris? Our van broke down yesterday too. The steering wheel turns but doesn't turn the wheels. Luckily it broke when we were turning around rather than on a main road. The moral of the story is that if you ever get a clunk from your steering get it looked into straight away!! Hopefully I'll get it fixed on Thursday, it's the steering relay box that failed.
The brakes were bad and it was about time they were replaced. Glad we did that, because the pads were basically non-existing... And suddendly we got a bad, sort of humming sound when we went for a longer drive. Seems like the wheel bearings in the back is the source. Oh darn, glad that didn’t happen in high speed! That’s noted🤓🤓 The life of a T3 owner...😂

Thanks Justin🙌🏼 I’ve always loved treehouses, all the way back to when I was a little boy. I’ve seen a lot of nice A-frame cabins in the pacific west, but not the cabins you refer to. The dog was not allowed in there, so she stayed outside...
My first impression is WOW . It looks awesome then you brought me to reality in the van. No power or water. It's one of the things that I am struggle with house design. For city folks. That toilet looks pretty in the day time. It will look ugly in the night time full of mosquitoes that you couldn't see in the video. 🤣🤣🤣

Haha! It’s a nice detox in my opinion. The toilet was fine with battery powered lights and it’s kind of exotic to rely on getting water by yourself:)

What about during storm 🤔 does it get flooded the river ?
It’s not exposed for storms, and we went there during the melting season so I don’t think the river overflows enough to impact the structure
