Hope you're enjoying your vacation and thanks for making the video. I'm worried about Terry's bad shooting and turnovers. That's going to be an issue for the coaching staff. However, he's still young and I think that he's got time to improve. By the way, Liberty and Darling are really playing well and I think there might be a chance for them in the team if they keep this level of playing. Go Bulls!
JFL is hooping out there. Hope he gets one of the 2 way. And Julian plays great too. I'm happy his shooting form become much better. I think the new development coach is doing a great job so far. Also Sanogo too, was so good in rebound really like that. Hope Dalen improve his shooting. Still has high hopes in him.

I think if anything he would make for a great role player but allstar superstar naw. Now P will is the allstar superstar he is the one that will be a beast whether for the bulls or another team
On a more positive note some other players on the roster have looked good. Freeman-Liberty is the obvious one, and I hope he gets a 2-way with the Bulls. I've liked Sanogo as well, and J. Philips looked good in the last game. An under the radar one is Nate Darling, just because of his status of being a pure shooter. His jumper looks bulletproof. I feel like it would translate well in the NBA. Maybe the Bulls take a chance on him. Let's see.
They definitely have a player development issue something AK and ME emphasized on when hired. They need to hire Fred Vinson to help DT. The same person who helped Zo's shot and we all know how painful that was to watch.
In the games he has played he’s shown his potential but also the inexperience of not getting to play meaningful minutes, the bulls are the worst team to get drafted to as a raw player
I’ve been meaning to say this but it feels like the organization drafts good - great projects but spend little effort developing them due to injury or an indecision to rebuild or contend
He has great potential. I'm not worried about his shot because he has time b4 the season starts to work on his shot. He may not develop with the Bulls but at some point he will develop a shot.
So I think DT just needs more time in developing his shot and I don’t know that that has to be during regular season games. If he doesn’t get playing time, then he’ll probably get the chance to take advantage of the new shooting coach while playing in the G league. DT does so many things well and is so versatile that you got give him some time to let him develop, even if he doesn’t get too many minutes
This is basically what I thought watching the last summer league game. Phillips looked more ready to help the bulls than terry. I do disagree with him not being able to add anything. I think hes a great passer and plays great half court ball something we suck at
Quick question that might explain why the bulls have drafted the way they have, do you think it’s easier for players to develop a 3pt shot over time or do you think it’s easier for players to learn how to finish at the rim and pass?
You can see potential there with Dalen to become a good rounded player but damn he couldnt hit the side of a barn with the way his shot is. Bulls shooting coach has got a big job ahead of him
Man I've been thinking since we drafted him why the hell we drafted him. We don't need more defensive guards that can't shoot. But all year I heard Bulls fans asking for the Bulls to play Terry and praising his play in the G League. He's a good player, but he's not what we need. We need help in the front court and outside shooting. I was kinda hoping we could've made a move for Patty Mills with him, but the Hawks picked him up from OKC. OKC definitely would've made a move for Dalen since their gameplan has been building a team of very competitive, young players.
I think everyone is blowing this out of proportion. Demar told Dalen to go out there, make mistakes, and just play. That’s exactly what he’s doing. It’s Summer League.
I think he looks like a raw player that hasn't had a lot of run time. If he can take Javonte's role I'd be happy. I was also glad to see Julian bounce back so well.
I’m not gonna overreact, it is Summer League. But not only was DT a massive reach at 18, he was drafted at a time when we already had a million guards. This front office’s drafting is looking horrendous so far
I wouldn’t be surprised if this ends up being Terry’s last season in a Bulls uniform. Ayo is in a show and prove year coming from last season’s slump… Bulls will know what they have in him based on his performance this season. Coby has to be more consistent and may have PG responsibilities this season. Williams has to make a jump defensively and make himself known on the court this season. I’m not worried about his offense long as he continues to improve, make his shots and be aggressive at times. This offseason highlights have been the Vuc and Carter signings and Javon Freeman Liberty. Freeman Liberty could very well take the little minutes that Terry has and even replace White if he ends up being the real deal.
No offense to Terry but his jump shot is absolutely disgusting, the other aspects of his game are good, but we don’t need more defense we need a guy that can shoot the three, I doubt he’ll crack the rotation next year, I think Julian Phillips just based on his length and shooting form is miles ahead of Terry.
Terrys distribution & playmaking abilities are otherworldly. Like, seriously generational type passing abilities. Phillips is a utility player, Terry has the potential to orchestrate an offense.
Honestly i don´t see dalen as a player who can develop into a decent/good role player, atleast not for now after watching him play last year and in this summer league.I wish he does but i just don´t think he will be like pat williams or even dosumnu who actually became good role players while still getting better each year, however the bulls barely gave him any time per game last year and he´s still really young, so im rooting for the young fella and hopefully we will see him become a nice fit for the team in the future.
What did you watch last year? Dalen barely played. But when he did play I saw some good things. Because from what I saw he is a good playmaker, he can handle the ball, push the pace, and get to the rack .His defense is decent. His shot needs some work and once the game slow down for him he will have less turnovers. But he's the type of player the more he plays the better he gets.
@@superslavbross9935yea idk why someone would say he sucks just because his 3 point percentage dropped other than that yes! His stats are pretty much the same! I have always seen terry as a Dennis Rodman mold of clay. He could become a lockdown defensive player that grabs rebounds and can distribute and rack up assists and play PG minutes, but his outside shooting may never get there. I could be wrong, but that’s what I see atm
dalen terry needs to grow up. he’s too much of a goof-he would benefit from acting less like dwight howard and more like kobe. i know he is still young, but he is a professional now.
I wonder why Ayo as a rookie was getting a certain amount of mintues, but Terry barely got any mins this past season. Ayo, Terry and Julian should be a good bench backcourt. Just hope, once again! Coach Donovan plays the young guys

As a fan of the Chicago Bulls, I am deeply concerned and desperate about the current situation of the team. While some may consider the free agency to be successful, if we objectively evaluate, the team remains mediocre and has lost key players like Patrick Beverley (He gave us some life when Vucevic was starting to say that everything was lost). Elite shooters have not been added, and the size issues in the power forward position have not been addressed. Additionally, a capable replacement for Lonzo Ball has not been found. Personally, I find it embarrassing to ask a young player without shooting skills to fill this kind of role. As matter of fact, he is the best point guard option that we currently have, and the stupid coach does not even used him... We are just going to have a terrible season.
I’m not worried about dalen nor do I have high expectations for him bro the 18th pick and not a lottery pick he was supposed too be a 3&d guy but he’s shown us he can be a good defender and play maker his shot does need some work and it will come along
@Joker-jz9cn How do you know he's not practicing more? Just because you don't see him practicing doesn't mean he not practicing. Everything don't have to be on camera. Just because u see him doing interviews or podcast doesn't mean he not practicing.
@knowyourself3762 Yeah I know it sounds crazy but Chicago needs to develop their young players. Chicago can't develop, they're young, players if they have Zach and Demar hogging the ball. I prefer that the Bulls trade Demar and keep Zach. Don't get me wrong I like Demar. But he has to go if Chicago wants to develop their young players.
The Bulls don't have a developer to work with our young guys that's another issue the Bulls draft players & then trade them away to where they become better players
DT looks like one of those guys you see on the playground with the fresh Air Nike shoes, the fresh basketball gear, and no game to match his attire. He's being thoroughly outplayed by players who would die to be in his shoes with a 4 yr guaranteed contract from being a 1st rd draft pick. DT is looking like a boy amongst men. And it's not just his shooting. It's his overall game. There's something missing, and I hope he finds it by preseason or bring pom-poms to the United CNTR and enjoy cheerleading from the bench seats.
About DT's development, very convern, I didn't like the pick. Though if the Bulls aren't going to draft for help or properly develop the draft pick then trade the pick, something isn't always better than nothing, and one will miss 100% of shots one doesn't take.
I'm not concerned with Dalen, I'm more concerned with AKME at this point. I don't watch enough baseball for a great analogy here, but they're swinging when the pitch is low and inside. Meaning they're trying to hit home runs on bad pitches. Dalen Terry wasn't the type of player they needed, Billy Donovan wasn't the right coach, just better than what we had. Trading as much as they did for Vooch turned out to be a bad idea, not because we shouldn't have gotten him, but we got him for a terrible price. All of these are off chance moves that have a significantly higher chance of failing than not. I never had high expectations for Dalen, I did for AKME though.
I think he’s a team what doesn’t suit his playing style. His strengths are more suited to contribute to a playoff contender team what need role players to mole around the star player
Not to excuse DT's performance....but the Bulls refused to let Terry play in the D-League the entire past season. Instead he sat on the bench with minimal PT. From where I sit....they are setting DT up to fail.
Relying on a big-three strategy where the most crucial player is actually your "fourth sword" is a flawed approach. It's disheartening to realize that without Lonzo Ball, we are not even competitive enough for a mediocre 8th seed.
terry's shot looks absolutely broken. Talk about launching bricks lol. IDK why the Bulls would draft a major project player in their current situation - makes no sense. Shoulda picked up someone more nba ready or atleast who can shoot.
Terry has good NBA skills, but is caught up in a bad situation for landing a roster spot with the Bulls. He needs more development on a team that is already loaded with players at his position. A bad situation.
It looks like Terry's good at everything but scoring! He couldn't hit water if he fell out of boat!😂... But he's still young also!.. so we'll see wat happens with him! Glad to see Julian hit some shots tho!
I'm not that concerned with Dalen Terry's shot. Shooting isn't something I'm really looking for Dalen Terry. What need terry to be is a elite level defender off the bench. Cause at some point in the season Caruso is gonna get hurt. He's only 21. Phillips looked really good. If Phillips can eventually shoot the three well in the NBA then we can move Patrick to the 3.
It made no sense to draft Terry when his skill set and position didn't match anything our team needed. I'm very concerned about his shot, it flat out stinks... I hope he can fix it but so far looking like another bad pick for AK. It sucks that we passed on better options like Branham, Braun, Kessler, and Jovic.
Terrible pick at 18. Dalen clearly needed another year or two of college. I see more potential in this year’s baffling pick, Phillips. Also, Liberty has been much more impressive. Hopefully, he makes the team.
Historically we know that the Bulls are one of the worst player development programs always. I think Dalen is very receptive of what he needs to work on. If he keeps focusing on that shot I think he will be fine. His defense is fearless and he’s good finishing at the rim. He needs to just slow down and work on his select.
Terry does look troublesome. My real question is where is bitim and what happened to him. He seems to be way less than a "potential" player. Insert and play the game.
Da 🐂🐃 doing what they usually do when they get decent players……..get rid of them because they won’t get any playing time. Then the player goes elsewhere, and do better.Smh
This Dalen Terry situation is just a microcosm of how poorly designed this team is in general. The Bulls wanting to compete and "win now" is so laughable. They are not good enough to win now. They need to reboot the whole thing. The longer this attempt to compete in the near-term goes on, the longer it will be before the Bulls are actually relevant again. This is one of the most directionless franchises in the NBA.

His offense has been amazing, his passing abilities are generational. And he has a BROKEN NOSE right now
It looks like Terry's good at everything but scoring!
So long story short... They should've traded the pick 😅
For someone that doesn’t have even close to the potential of DT?
Is DT our poor man’s version Ben Simmons? 🤦♂️
He does have a heart, which Simmons lacks.
Uhh, the team desperately needed guys who could play make & distribute, which is exactly what he does
Terrible pick at 18.
That's what's up
Dalen Terry better improve he's got ne excuses left
He reminds me of Ben Simmons
Terry does look troublesome.
My real question is where is bitim and what happened to him. He seems to be way less than a "potential" player. Insert and play the game.
Bitim..? You’re joking, right? Also, Terry looks fine
Da 🐂🐃 doing what they usually do when they get decent players……..get rid of them because they won’t get any playing time. Then the player goes elsewhere, and do better.Smh
Yeah, look, Jamaal, no one is expecting you to follow the summer league, lol.
Lol fair
This Dalen Terry situation is just a microcosm of how poorly designed this team is in general. The Bulls wanting to compete and "win now" is so laughable. They are not good enough to win now. They need to reboot the whole thing. The longer this attempt to compete in the near-term goes on, the longer it will be before the Bulls are actually relevant again. This is one of the most directionless franchises in the NBA.
Dalen Terry has looked completely horrible, now it is summer league so i won't grill the kid just yet........but he seriously needs to be better.
Uhh, are you watching a different player..?
@@marcbasil Clearly I am, if you think Terry has been good😂.............
@@dantaviusstapleton4747 uhhh, he’s literally been the best passer on the court in every game. The otherworldly vision everyone talked about has been on full display. He’s also been the only guard/wing on the floor that isn’t absolutely horrible on defense; doesn’t overcommit, doesn’t bite on fakes, doesn’t gamble on bogus lanes, etc etc. also, the kid is playing with a BROKEN NOSE. His vision is all messed up, so obviously his shot isn’t going to be there until his equilibrium is back
Guys trust me I have known DT since high school. He has been playing the same. No improvements over the last 6years. His passing is not as good as valentine and his shooting is not as good as valentine. Dalen runs faster and does ok on defense so what? Valentine ain’t even playing in t G league. So, it’s sad
Tasumu is so so so much better. Fire dalen please
I’m just concerned about the team cause the organization as a whole (as is with the white Sox) is horrible
How we ever going to find out since Billy Gum won't play him? To be honest he doesn't look good and lets face it the Bulls have a serious development problem
I’m not a Billy fan by any means, but can you blame him? He’s clearly not ready and the front office wants to win now
@@BullsCentral not really, but this franchise has got to pick a direction. AK has got to know that this is nowhere a championship team or even really a playoff team. I think fans would embrace a rebuild at this point
I think Dalen is a bust he is OK at most things other than shooting but he doesn't do anything well enough to warrant minutes in the NBA. I'm normally terrible at scouting prospects in the NBA Draft but I really wanted the bulls to draft Walker Kessler in 2022 as he seemed to be a perfect fit. It looks like unfortunately I was right for once SMH
Lolwat..?
ya, i wanted kessler myself
😒
@@chasinggreatness42 ?
@@swaymcthunder1219 fast forward 8-9 years when Kessler is playing for the vet min & Terry is draymond green 2.0. Chicago went with sky high upside & long term potential
Terry is unplayable, dude will be playing in China in a year or two
Where do you g00fs come up with this nonsense…? Terrys passing is absolutely otherworldly; like, seriously special. He’s also the only guard on the floor who actually knows how to defend, and was the reason the Bulls were in the game; wasn’t biting on fakes, gambling on bogus lanes, etc etc etc. watch more basketball
Other worldly?? That’s a stretch
You criticize Chicago so much as if you're the greatest analystt of all time! & Be wrong 75 to 80% of the time. Your criticism is why I have not subscribe. Understand is just your opinion but please change your content. ...just stop ✌️
Dude I'm die hard Chicago everything, bulls do suck horrible moves by AK pwill stinks #4 pick that plays like a 2nd round pick dalen terry bust sucks horrible trade for vuc but your probably those fans that will wait 20 years for things to work out goof
A.K. = 🤡
