I used to go and see the lifeboat here every year when I spent the summer at my Grandparents back in the 50s, I remember my Grandad buying coke from the gasworks you can see behind the lifeboat station.

excellent video. i can remember the last proper boat. shame this carriage cant be saved be for it rots away completely.
