Getting the right setup and figuring a lot of the pitfalls out requires a electrical engineering degree, and/or a lot of money. This clever setup requires a lot of planning and a work shop that will never fit on that bus.
My friends who have done this tell me everything is wonderful until something goes wrong that requires your RV to spend time at the mechanic's. Big trailer pulled by a pickup is better way to go. When pickup needs work, you stay in the trailer with your stuff.

My girlfriend is 67 years old and I am 66 years old . My girlfriend has a school bus that’s a work in progress . But she is afraid to go down into mexico . I am full time in a motor home so I have visited the Baja three times over the last ten years and never had any problems with any bad people . Only one downside I see to this is that if the bus breaks down, your home breaks down. Id rather pull a camper than drive one. Just my personal preference. At least if a vehicle breaks down you dont temporarily lose your house when its in the shop for repairs. Other than that, this is super dope!

I don't know who would consider going to one of the states with the most dangerous cities for the simple fact of being on the border, if I were traveling on the peninsula I would go to its sister state, Baja California Sur. It is arguably one of the safest states in Mexico compared to all the other states in the country.
The same could be said about going to the US. We've had more mass shootings this year than days of the year in 2023. Hmmm, maybe I should move. 🤔 The mental health issue + easy access to guns issue causing these shootings isn't going to go away by itself. We need ideas to resolve this or it will continue to get worse. It doesn't necessarily mean take away guns, but perhaps require the guns to be locked up when stored.

I lived in 280 sqft for 7 years. It gets old real fast. Now I live dept free on 5 acres I own in a 1, 735 sq ft 3 bed 2 bath conventional home. LOVE IT! I will never go back to small living. For me it sucks, but to each his own. My advice if you want to do tiny living rent a trailor and try it for a mounth.

I lived in 280 sqft for 7 years. It gets old real fast. Now I live dept free on 5 acres I own in a 1, 735 sq ft 3 bed 2 bath conventional home. LOVE IT!
I will never go back to small living.
For me it sucks, but to each his own.
My advice if you want to do tiny living rent a trailor and try it for a mounth.
