- Introducing Charlotte Tilbury’s NEW Red Carpet Series, a video series requested by YOU, recreating some of Charlotte’s most fabulous celebrity makeup looks straight from the red carpet! This first video is recreating Nicole Kidman’s Golden Globes makeup from 2017. Nicole wore The Rock Chick eyeshadow palette for a silver smokey eye and her signature Hot Lips lipstick in Kidman’s Kiss. People need to *get a grip* she is going to use models in her videos that’s what PROFESSIONALS like her do.
She’s not a UA-cam star that can only afford to do looks on herself she is a top 5 industry make-up artist who does makeup for the highest profile clients.
Anyone who has does makeup professionally will tell you that if you want your skin to be better then SKINCARE is the way to go to improve the overall quality of your face.
Makeup shouldn’t be used to fix major face concerns because at the end of the day makeup can’t fix those only proper skincare and a dermatologist can make inroads on severe issues.
Her products work like every other makeup brand line but the quality of the products are better and therefore you get a better wear. Simple as that!

BlairWalkdor2013 - Your comment is the most black and white comment I've seen in a long time. It's not as simple as you make out and you're talking like people are so stupid they've never thought about skincare before or don't have a routine already but still have persistent skin problems.
A lot of skin issues can't be resolved by a dermatologist, and no one is saying makeup is supposed to "fix" anything. No one is naive enough to use makeup as a cure for skin complaints. Makeup is only supposed to make skin _appear_ better than it is and most people understand that. But how can Charlotte talk up her products like they perform miracles yet demonstrate it in skin that is already perfect? How can you say your skin will appear flawless and glowy on skin that is already flawless and glowy? How do we really see what your product is doing if the skin had no problems to address to begin with? It makes no sense.
A lot of people leaving a critique about the models she uses don't have "severe skin issues". Many might have long term skin conditions like Rosacea that dermotologists *can't* fix. Rosacea can be _controlled_ and managed but there's no cure --it's chronic. No Derm can fix that. What will you tell them? What about other minor skin complaints like hereditary dark circles? Or in the meantime, while a woman has Pregnancy Mask (aka Melasma) what is she supposed to do to make that appear better while treating it? Or are you just gonna lecture her about a dermatologist?
Most people do not have perfect skin no matter how amazing their skincare. And tbh, your comment is almost the equivalent of designers putting clothes on size-0 models so you tell regular folk who can't relate to those extremely skinny girls (because it doesn't look the same on normal figures) that "THAT'S WHAT *PROFESSIONALS* DO". I mean, why don't they get a grip, right? They shouldn't complain that a Size -0 is wearing the clothes. Like, sorry ladies if your body doesn't look like that. They're professionals who use professional skinny models, that's how the clothes look best. That's what PROFESSIONALS like them do. They just don't look as good on regular bodies **shrugs** . Or oh, a 28 yr old modelling anti-wrinkle cream? I'm sorry you can't see how it works on mature skin but you can't complain because that's what PROFESSIONALS like them do.

I don´t understand why all the people are saying... makeup is not about if you need it or not if you have perfect skin or not. makeup is fun, makeup is about the joy of wearing it, no matter your skin color, age, skin type or size.
Maria J Ortega The problem is that she keeps saying that her products create miracles. She keeps saying that you will look flawless and glowy and then uses it on a model that's already flawless and glowy. What the fuck am I supposed to take from that. I'm a person with pretty good skin but I still get a spot here and there and if I don't know if a expensive foundation will help me with that then why would I spend my money on it. It would be nice to see her put her eye miracle on a aging model and not on a twenty year old or her foundation on someone with redness, because a lot of people have rosacea and it chronic so you can't get rid of it. Everyone gets a pimple and when that happens it's nice to now that a product that's is claimed to be magical can handle that. I WANT HER TO PROVE THAT HER PRODUCTS ARE AS AMAZING AS SHE CLAIMS THEM TO BE IN EVERY VIDEO. She can keep saying that a product works for every skin type, but until I see it I'm not believing it. I have her foundation and when I have a bad day and have a bit of redness or a spot that foundation doesn't do shit and it sucks because in every video she describe it as amazing. Which it obviously isn't.

Love this look and great you are finally having a fair skinned blondie as a model, so the colours are right up my alley!😍 I can only get the products online, so it is little bit hit or miss with the lipsticks especially. Only once I have visited the counter in Germany and got the beautiful Kidmans kiss which has then become my absolute fav 💕💋 But the sales lady did recommend Love glow to me also, so that might just be next on my shopping cart.☺️

True but this models skin isn't as perfect and squeaky clean as the others. You can tell she is more of a oilier skin type because her pores are very visible, and she has visible rosacea on her cheeks with redness all over her face, plus a few of those red bumps on her cheeks, but her skin still is far better than mine, even though her skin is similar to mine.
Lovecraft1990 but she got great features. I meant to say most of Charlotte's models got flawless skin. Why can't she pick ordinary women who got double chin, fat nose, small eyes and chubby cheeks, make them look spectacular and then take credit.
Nini Khan I think it's her marketing strategy! :) She has some videos with problematic skin's models, but they want to show the power of her make-up line. To show red carpet looks she uses beautiful models to resemble actresses!
Its a stratedgy but also all other brands do it! I think Charlotte’s deserve attention.

For some reason Charlotte's eyeshaodws really do not last on my eyelids? Any tips anyone? I have used primer and doesn't seem to help.
DemonicbutAngelic that's weird Ive never had that problem. Maybe you have dry eyelids. They eyeshadow has trouble adhering when there isn't enough moisture. Also putting a little bit of foundation on your lids helps it stay all day.
Can you choose a model of colour.
The foundation is great but for in summer doest help with shine

Didnt realised until now; the lighting is too much, like the colours doesn’t show much, also they used a filter for this video which is very unprofessional in my opinion.
For once, I can't tell if the model is my age (late twenties) or older. Very confusing, because I was going to applaud CT for choosing an older model, but then I thought that maybe she isn't one after all. Either way, stunning makeup and model.

Please don't get me wrong I'm a big fan of Charlotte i think she's a makeup goddess but i have a little concern about her models.. Why she can't pick an normal girls with no perfect skin and imperfections why we don't see the real transformation.. If she is going to speak for all of her audienc she have to use regular models.. I really feel like this brand is just for celebrity's and flowless people
