Can't believe this game already has more updates then Chess
Fools blade needs an en passant card. I don’t know what it would do.
Chess released finished and polished, no patches needed.
Not even true, many changes happened to chess before its final iteration, en passant and even how pieces used to work in the betas (for example: the queen wasn't the BEAST she is nowadays)
Chess got different dimensions though

In all reality, as a backer myself who bought pretty much all the stuff I could buy, I can’t wait to have this game in my hands! Thank you circle for the update, I can’t wait to hate my friends in the future!

Worth the wait, I rather have your perfections and fine tuning done before release. I am loving how this project is developing, keep up the great work.
To be honest, I expect it to take as long as 6 months since it is your first time creating something as big as a card game and there is clear compassion and drive to assemble it as best as possible. I'm glad to know you are so focused on delivering a unique experience and doing so on summer break. The perfect time to engage in Fool's Blade.
Man your energy and passion you could sell me on just about anything. Soo relieved that the product looks even better than i could have pictured. Keep it up
bit of a bummer about the new release date to june/july, but personally in years from now i'd much rather have a quality, sick ass box and game in my collection than one that was rushed just to release a few months early. and i can only imagine the pressure on you hasn't been easy.

Looks awesome, just making sure that sleeved cards still fit the box (specifically with the sleeves provided in the kickstarter). It always seems like creators forget to check this step when they are reviewing the prototypes
Holy shit everything looks so good! This is the first thing I've ever backed on kickstarter and I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. I can't wait to hold the sword box/dice, and continue to shove it down my tabletop group's throats!

I very unfortunately heard about this after it was funded otherwise I would have paid the highest tier for it. I've since seen the two playthroughs that are on UA-cam & I am in love with it & to see how passionate you are makes me more excited. I would love a Kickstarter edition so I'm just gonna have to hope some of those double tier sets pop up on eBay so I can purchase one ☺️☺️☺️

Release pushed back to June/July due to needing to switch companies to produce the unique box, new company also makes Gloomhaven.
Just wanted to know that everything is alright :) I bought thru the website when you did the playtest with Smosh, so Im willing to wait as long as needed
honestly I appreciate videos like this instead of click baity videos like fake apology videos to give me mini heart attacks lol (definitely understand why they do it, and nothing wrong with that, but I think I don't do well with sudden anxiety and dread like that. Plus its straight forward with no filler which my ADHD is always happy about)
Making things is HARD. Making them GOOD QUALITY is even harder. Its easy to cut corners but you're incredibly skilled and driven passion for artistic creations is incredibly inspiring. No need to say sorry for things needing time. Anything worth any good salt will always take alot of time. Just promise to keep at it because you have so much support for your work! Not just this but everything you make! You got this!
i hate playing bored/card games but im happy that youre making something fun that you enjoy and care about
This is all pretty cool, though I got a question about how do we keep the playmat and the box together. Since I heard it wont fit in the box, is there any suggestions with how we may be able to keep them together?

When I saw the sword box, I only thought it would look like a sword and work like a normal board game box... while you can ACTUALLY UNSHEATH THE SWORD!?

Are you going to be selling the custom dice outside of fool's blade? Would be so tempted to get a set to play D&D with (without having to take them out of Fool's Blade each time haha)

While I couldn’t back the kickstarter, I’m DEFINITELY gonna buy it when it’s publicly released (if not for the box alone)! Also, something tells me the secret drawer is there for a specific reason… of the expansion variety… for the game Fool’s Blade… that would be released later on- am I hinting at this theory enough?😅
i know right i was suspecting what that could be for? but the sword top bit only has 4 deck slots and there are 8 decks in fools blade so i think that secret compartment could be for the remaining decks also the expansion has a box of some sort so thats what i'm going for but there's still more space in the handle wink* wink* heh* i like your theory too
I was excited to play it when i go home for spring break . But if its june i can enjoy it in the summer when all my buds are free

i think i made a good choice for my first Kickstarter game, damn i hope i like the game because this stuff looks sooo nicely made(what are the other cards gonna look like!) at this point this will be on me but i wont know until i play it since its my first step into tabletop genre besides the classic childhood games

But one thing: im sorry.. but.. wouldnt the secret compartment better if the opening is on the same side as the opening for the cards?... if you put the box on the table and pull the sheet and the compartment... the compartment things just roll out... :( maybe its just me?... IM SORRY 😭

Kind of a shame hearing the releasedate get pushed back, but seeing that you have some boss cards done, custom dice and the box and cards look high quality, it all leaves me just being existed
Hopefully this is the last pushback and we get the game in summer, cause I just can't wait to get my hands on it and play it with my friends

I’m good with waiting. The boss mechanic, the card protectors, the coin, the playmat, i think i got the dice and if i didnt i think i may have to order some. I’m too much of a dnd dice loot bug to not to have such unique dice.
