  • The 2024 Ford Mustang GT ($44,090 starting in the US, $50,595 in Canada) has seen many updates and styling changes in what Ford calls the all-new Mustang. With new dual air intakes and dual throttle bodies, the 2024 Mustang GT makes more power and torque from its beloved 5.0 L Coyote Engine - pushing the numbers up to 486 hp and 415 lb ft respectively. But is it really all-new? And how does it compare to the previous generation? Thomas and James are eager to get behind the wheel of the latest pony car from Ford. We hope you enjoy the episode. The Mustang's interior has always been basic as well as Ford in general but you just can't deny that sound and raw power that the manual version gives you regardless of the limited horsepower it was always a blast to drive.

Before you go and "challenge the local at the red light", find a big empty parking lot (if you can't afford to go to track) and learn how and when "break traction" occurs. Learn how to correct Understeer/oversteer. If you are a Mustang owner, that is a regular behavior for the car. Nice review Throttle House.

However, stuff like the new Mercedes Benz vehicles that rely on acres of screens without a single button in sight can be too much visual overload and can venture into becoming distracting. I know Ford can’t keep doing retro, but I personally feel the S550’s interior had a nice sporty vibe to it and I feel like the S650’s interior, if done right, could’ve blended a premium feel with hints of sportiness perfectly, but I just don’t feel that. I got a chance to drive the S650 yesterday here in LA , and Thomas hit the nail right on the head with the steering. Coming from owning a 2019 Bullitt, I felt that the S650’s steering left something to be desired, especially in track mode. Overall, I truly enjoyed the car. Thank you guys for this thorough review!!!

@@alexmoore5970 let me start off by saying the spec I got to drive wasn’t the one presented in this video. I got to drive a premium package with the 10 speed auto. Now that being said, I had the car in track mode on the same mountain roads, and although the steering was quicker, it definitely felt more numb than my ‘19 Bullitt. I’ve never driven a C6, so I can’t give you a fair comparison, but if you have the budget to get a S650, definitely go test drive one. They’re neat.

The foxbody gauge cluster is sick, probably my favorite feature of the car being a foxbody owner myself. But there were more foxbodies made then any other mustang ever and probably is the most supported and built mustang platform ever made. It’s iconic as hell
