Thanks much for this video. I had an old VAIO DUO 13 that stopped holding a charge a while back, and which I retired to a tabletop media player... but eventually the broken battery inside started to swell. Your video helped me open it up to remove the bloating battery and keep the VAIO alive and useful for a little longer.
I would have never figured out prying off the port cover and peeling the speaker tape to get to the important screws underneath without your walk-though.

the hard drive is a M.2. it will be best if you can remove the hard drive then take it to the store so they can get your info about it. remember to leave the store and buy it online as it is normally cheaper

no you just need to install windows and download the drivers and stuff from sony website

Is the SSD upgradeable on this laptop to 512gb or 1TB? Also is the DC in port (the yellow square part attached to the motherboard, is that easily replaceable or is that soldered on?
it is upgradable to whatever fits in the slot. so if you can find a 1tb ssd then it will work. make sure it is not NVMe. it needs to be sata m.2. the yellow power jack can be removed as it is a connector

you have to take everything off till. follow the video till 12:00. the keyboard is held on with screws

ssd and ram for this is avaliable. ram is DDR3L and any brand is fine as this is not an apple whatever fits in the slot should work

+Fabio Batista i dont understand what you trying to say but what you need to do is just install windows on it using an external DVD drive as you replace your SSD it doesnt have windows on it and you need to put windows on it to use it.

you can not test it unless you have a working battery that you know is working or the same laptop thats work so you can switch out things and test it. this is how stores and companies test faulty stuff

I have sony vaio ultrabook Svd1321m2ew but unfortunately i lost recovery disc and also i installed a new window but it's showing INTERNAL POWER ERROR, i dont have a recovery disc help me out please because recovery disc cost $44 and i dont have enough money!
the new windows would not cause this issue and if you have the recovery disc it will not help you fix this issue. can you tell me how you know you have a power issue

there isnt really an good sites you can buy it off. i live in australia and most of the stuff i buy come from there. the battery for this laptop is extremely expensive you will find that buying a new laptop will be cheaper

hi thanks I have sony svd13223cxw every thing work good but fan not start I change fan by new but not work and after 10 min down because cpu is hot what I can do .
the fan doesnt need to spin until the computer tells it to. in your case when the cpu get hot enough it will tell the fan to spin which is normal.

this laptop can not use nvme. it is too old. it old uses sata m.2

the sticker doesn't really do anything go buy something and cut it out and stick it over it. remember to cut/poke holes where the speaker is so the sound can come out

I used to open the screen then found out it was pointless as people get scared to remove the screen in case they crack it or break is somehow. many people are already scared to just open up their laptop with watching the video just imagine removing something breakable like the screen.
OPEN ME UP Well the thing is a small part of the screen doesn't work with fingers but only with the stylus so I'm not sure if the problem is the touchscreen or the digitizer or windows 10 update, anyways thank you for your help.

I really doubt that. BIOS battery normally dont die. just to let you know if you laptop battery is dead the laptop wont turn on
It turns on (fan starts to work, keyboard light starts to dynamically change), but the screen is black, I can not even enter the BIOS. At first it was like 1 time of 5, then more often (and it worked wonderful with no issues even on heavy tasks with no artifacts, but it was hard to turn it on) and now it won't work at all. So it seems like the battery was dying slowly or maybe the chipset soldering becoming bad.
