    Congratulations on the post. I have a laptop of the same make and model. I had to change the battery because it only worked with the charger. Now with the new battery it does not work, only with the charger. Would you have any idea why the computer does not decrypt the battery?

    • @OpenMeUpTec
      @OpenMeUpTec  5 років тому

      your battery function/part is faulty. so the laptop does not read/know your laptop battery is connected. basically you have a laptop without a battery that is whats happening. i have seen this before and you can actually fix it but requires you to see a computer store as you need to replace one of the chips on the motherboard

    I have an SVF15N1S2ES laptop. You mentioned that you can put 2x8 GB RAM ("16 gigs in total") but on its datasheet the max. supported memory is 8GB. Does that mean that 8GB / slot ?
    Now there are 2x4GB RAM modules in it and I want to upgrade it to 2x8GB but I am little bit confused now.
    Oh and one more question: is it possible to change the wireless card to one that supports 802.11ac as well?
    Thank you for your answers in advance.

      the data sheet is old probably why it doesnt say 16GB as it didnt exist when they created the sheet. this is not an apple, if it fits in the slots then it should work. i have 7260ac in mines back then and it works

    @Scott Chou Hi, I have a “Sony VAIO SVF14N2A4ES Fit 14A Multi-flip 14” Laptop”. The Disk usage shows 100% so whilst I was searching for a solution I found myself on this video and comments. I wonder what is a good SSD that I can use to replace my 1TB HDD. Video description says that you’ve used: “Samsung Electronics 840 EVO-Series 1TB”. I suppose this is an older model and not sold anymore, so what would be a compatible SSD for my laptop? Thanks.

    • @OpenMeUpTec

      if it fits in the slot it should work as this is not an apple. most likely your hard drive is faulty and needs to be replace. you can buy anything that will fit. now you can get an samsung 870quo sata 2.5inch

      @@OpenMeUpTec Thank you. Whilst the laptop back cover is opened up, I might go for a memory upgrade also. My laptop comes as 8GB RAM. I assume it comprises if 2x 4GB Rams on 2 separate slots. I heard previously that you cannot install 1x 8GB RAM on certain laptops. So to max it up to 16GBs, would I need 2x 8GB DDR3 modules? If so what make would you recommend please?

      guys, how is the keyboard connected ? I have an issue with the keyboard all of a sudden, it just doesn't work. A week before I had it repaired and I think the aftermath of the repair can be the culprit i.e. my screen wouldn't hold anymore as all of the plastic through which the screws went got broken long story short is that the repair guy used shit lots of glue. The monitor holds and moves smoothly. BUUUUT when I try to lift back plastic I see that some thick cables(the ones at the top of the pc, close to the monitor) got glued to the plastic piece I am trying to remove! Are those cables related to the keyboard in any way or just the screen? Also have no clue how to detach those cables now, should I just shatter the old back piece until there is only a bit of it left on a cable and get a new one instead :D ? looking forward to your reply on this one very much

      +mohamed sayed normal cables for screens in the for in the same model range is the same but the length is not. the bigger laptops with have long cable compared to the smaller ones. i will assume it is the same but i doubt you will find one. try ebay, also cables have a sticker on it which tells you the part number.
