Imagine frieza as the pizza delivery guy. Laces each pizza with ki, and accurately guides them to people doorstep, while also providing proper insulation, keeping every pizza at a hot temperature.
He'd probably get fired one day for slicing through someones house or something like that.

First time stopping by, dropped a sub. :) I have been a day 1 Freeza main and really enjoyed this video. I think he's been good since the beginning but every patch cleans up more of his weaknesses and makes his good stuff better. And pizzas giving knockdown makes me absolutely giddy.

Just trying to get back into the game after a while is the best team for freeza just beam assists like black and goku? Or have you changed your team up
@@simonwilson2413 My main team was Freeza/Goku/Tien, I actually haven't had a chance to play online since the patch so I haven't experimented with all the new assists. You'll probably want at least one beam assist for sure regardless :)

having trouble landing the sparking combo, after the IAD jM(2) > (land) jM(1)j2S > 66 I cant seem to getr the jM to connect both hits
instead of falling down after the j2S like he does in the video, he seems to rise upward. Am I just mistiming the inputs or is the combo not possible anymore in the current season?
Edit: Nvm i scrolled down some comments and the combo isn't possible
you can just skip the (land) jM(1)j2S > 66 > jM(2) and go straight into the 5L5H and finish the combo for a similar route

What can I say, Kefla and Zamasu just have really punchable faces. I'll be making new character polls on the community tab every video now, so wait until she appears there and vote. The candidates will be picked based on requests and my personal opinion so don't expect Z Broly or Bardock to appear there until theyre the only ones left lol
While in the air and attacking an enemy stuck in the corner you can use xxx then qcf + x and from there go into a special or teleport to wall bounce the enemy

for anyone who can't land the Golden Mid-Corner BNB, he wrote "whiff 5L" but he's actually doing 2L. hope that helps
I know this video is pretty old so I don't fully expect a reply, but when practicing the Golden side switch I noticed the 5M after landing kept whiffing on smaller characters, Krillin in particular. Is it just inconsistent or impossible? Or am I just goofing it up?
Edit: literally answered my own question within 3 minutes of posting this by just adjusting the delay on the first 5M until the second one no longer missed.
Time to get in the lab.

Great video (again)! A question, the one thing stopping me from doing the last tod is actually the vanish after 22S. Any tips for that?
It's been a while since I've made this, I don't remember the 22S > Vanish being an issue. Where is it dropping for you? Is the DR not connecting or are they recovering before the Vanish or something else entirely?
@@TinyTorgue sometimes I get it right, sometimes the vanish whiffs, some times I don't get the smash so no DR
@@choriflanero Odd, I can't check right now but try to Vanish as the enemy hits the floor. You don't want to miss the ground bounce you get from 22S.

This is indeed a dumb question but how can I shoot exactly 5 ki blasts? Should i hold the button or press it individually 5 times in the tod combo? I can easily shoot 4 or 6 getting punished and lose the match lol
In neutral always press them individually. In combos it's whatever, you can get a feel for it or count them. I personally go by the audio cue

It stands for Dragon Rush, R1/RB depending on what controller you have.

I am slowly learning combos and tricks on db fighter and I don't understand certain typology. What is 'JC' and 'scaled' ? What do those words mean?
jc stands for jump cancel, which is when you jump (usually forwards jump) to cancel a move's recovery on block or hit. An unscaled starter are usually Medium starters with some other buttons being exceptions, but a scaled starter would be a Light or an overhead like jM or jH. Scaled starters are generally faster and easier to land but will reduce the total damage in a combo and require you to shorten the combo slightly. The unscaled starters come in for reads and punishes and give massive damage.

So I'm new to fighting games, dbfz is the first fighting game I've picked up but I have noticed something, I noticed that when you add 2 light attacks in the beginning of a combo it's weaker than if you just start with the 2 mediums, why is that?
Because Light attacks are a lot faster and therefore easier to hit, Medium starters are more like optimal punishes if you have a read on the enemy in any way.
yo quick question for the rejump combo do u need midair recovery turned off for it to work thank you?
Right, when you are stuck in a combo you hold any attack button to recover from it as soon as possible. If you dont hold anything, your character will just be stuck in the combo forever. As long as the combo counter stays orange, it's a true combo, if it's blue there was an opportunity to recover. Online your enemy will just flip out of the combo when the counter would turn blue because it wasnt a true combo. Pick any recovery you want, but don't turn it off because that would be like playing against an afk player.
Love the video, just can't figure something out, how do I cancel j2H into jL as to not launch the enemy a second time? Is it a timing thing?
Are you talking about Golden Frieza loops? In that case you shouldn't be doing j2H but only jH. They look almost identical.

@@TinyTorgue Also since you're here, I've gotten used to doing jLM jcLM rather than jLL, is any of them better than the other, any downside to using one over the other?
@@MrDudeDudley Well usually you'll want to do jMLL2HjcLLL if your character has a standard j2H, since that does the most damage. The difference between doing jLL and jLM is that jLL gets "autocombo autocorrect". Your character will magically gain a little bit of height to make sure the rest of jLLL connect, while jLMH will stay at the same height. For Frieza for example you can't do jLLjcLLL because he will overshoot the enemy, which is why you do jMLjcLL. You will only need to do jLM in very specific combos for some characters so jLL should be your default, but remember most characters do jMLL for their standard BnBs.

Im having trouble reading the Block String Flow Chart, whats Frieza's best option to punish mashing?
Just by delaying basically any button at any time you can create a gap where they can mash but will get hit if they do.

You gotta delay the Superdash more probably. That route is pretty old now by the way, he can do 5M2M > 5H > delay SD > 66 jM(1) > (land) 5L > sjMLL2S > SD > jM(2)LjcLL(2)2S > j2H for a lot more damage.

Oh because in the video on the image part you showed us says 22s that’s why I was confused Thank you for being patient with me I almost got the hang of these re-jumps
It says the B Assist is almost unusable for block strings due to low blockstun but isn’t that what makes it secretly a little OD if you’re using it as an assist for a character with a command grab?
It still is trash for every other purpose, just having that one little niche doesn't make it any good unfortunately

Anyone know if any buffs or nerfs have affected any of these combos? I'm trying to get the universal 5H rejump down and it turns blue after the jM(1) every time, also the string says 1S but it looks like you used a 3S in the clip.
still works, but yes it's 3S instead of 1S. I messed that one up
@@TinyTorgue I've been at it for about 2 hours and still no luck, its blue every time after jM(1) and if I do continue I have to use 1S the angle is different than it is in the video, any idea why? I'm fairly confident my delay on SD is the same timing as yours
@@lelouchtheroyal6198 just did it with 3s and you can finish with jcM(2)L > 2S > 2H
