What your supposed to do is turn off the inhibitor and then grab "the mask" that's hidden on your head. This unlocks hard mode.

It's honestly hilarious how Matpat manages to get all the lore immediately, tracks down each of Hippo's messages on the first try, and immediately knows to take his mask off, while Markiplier is over here dodging lore like it's an obstacle course. Really shows how they interface with games differently, and it's honestly fun to see and compare.
And let us not forget their comparing Ballora Gallery sneaking differences. Matpat: Slow and sneaky trying to dodge everything with care. Mark: All the stealth of a crack-addled badger.
Honestly i’ve decided to watch Mark’s videos first on any new fnaf content, because he seems to genuinely enjoy it. Or if it’s enraging (like some parts of security breach) the editing makes it incredibly digestible (props to Lixian and the other editors). Then if i care enough about it i’ll check out Matpat’s content on it. If I don’t care enough, but it actually might contain interesting stuff (like RUIN) I usually end up watching a Pastra video or someone similar who only makes content about fnaf if they actually have something interesting to say about it. As much as I love team theorist and fnaf lore, both can be a bit out there and not always what I want to spend my precious time engaging with lmao

The Foxy Log Flume rail shooter is honestly peak VR gameplay. Perfect design, and honestly it looks great. VR games that require a lot of movement can often be super disorienting, but intentionally explaining why the player is stuck in place, but you still move believably, is such a great thought for design. 10/10. If I weren't a wimp who hated the horror genre, I'd be right off to picking this up.
Hey you wanna know something fun? You can absolutely reach a point where you could play this for yourself at any time with some practice. Handling the fear and adrenaline takes work and patience with yourself so it's possible that you could play it someday! You're already taking steps to handle it better by watching someone else play it. I recommend exposing yourself to more games/events that you feel is more of a controlled environment. My first big step was going to a professional haunted house. I might be ready for horror VR now myself, it's been a few years of work for myself going out of my way to learn to love to be scared.
Ill be honest with you, I played both fnaf VR games, the first one was absolutely horrifying. But this second one is a total joke when it comes to the scary aspect. I think thats probably intentional, the game was meant to be "fun minigames" immersed in the fnaf universe with the obligatory horror element as it is fnaf.

I think the hippo was referring to what could be a button to the right of the fortune cabinet. You can see it if you pause at approximately 19:36 during the outro. It looks very similar to the buttons during the log ride to turn on lights or in this case, open doors. Now that the shooter is unlocked it may be used to open the door.
I always think that people that play this game go well to participate and lean like dawko and mat pat did. but you markiplier, you just go crazy and mess things up which makes those type of videos the best ever! XD Happy new year by the way.

I think the hippo was referring to what could be a button to the right of the fortune cabinet. You can see it if you pause at approximately 19:36 during the outro. It looks very similar to the buttons during the log ride to turn on lights or in this case, open doors. Now that the shooter is unlocked it may be used to open the door.
The amount of obvious errors that mark does really grinds my gears 😂
Man probably makes mistakes intentionally just so he can extract more from the games. Otherwise he'd grind them totally to dust.
