For those who don't want to install a plugin, all you have to do to make an isometric game camera is select your camera, go into camera settings, and choose "orthographic" for "Type" value under the "Lens" section. Then set these rotational values for your camera: x:60° y:0° z:45°. The Orthographic Scale value controls the "zoom". You can also experiment with different x rotation values, for a steeper or shallower viewing angle. I typically like 60 or 65.
I found the tutorial's introduction to the Array modifier (1:35) and creating emissive materials (12:38) to be very helpful. However, I struggled to follow the steps on how to apply the Array modifier to the object. Thank you :)
I appreciate you taking the time to do these videos for people. However, the actual tutorial is more advanced because a beginner doesnt know the inteface to follow you and be successful. Once the interface can be navigated. Then following these would be great. I wish the people that took their time to make videos like these to help others would keep in mind that the followers dont know the interface or terminology when starting out.
Got stuck at the beginning when you used the array modifier. My array worked to create multiples but I now I don't have the option to hit apply so I can select the faces freely. Tried everything, but my modifiers seem to apply automatically.. Any advise?
This channel is unbelievably underrated
