Tina Turner and James Brown are from the same era.
So what James Brown said was way on point, and also about the other artists from his era regardless of genre

I'll never forget seeing Mr James Brown in the Barbican, London; there was a brief silence and I yelled out "Get on Up" and he heard because he said "Yeah, I'm gonna do that in a minute". It's the closest I can loosely say to having had a conversation with the Godfather of Soul. But what a great night. A few days later I went back to the event to see Bootsy Collins and danced with him when he came into the crowd.
    Good times.

Oliver Henderson I put off a chance to see Miles Davis, thinking I'll catch him another time. I didn't, he died soon after.
So after that I made it a goal to try and see as many of these greats as I was able to, but JB was something quite special.
I also passed up a chance to see Frank Zappa.
It's funny, I've now met some young people that thought it was really cool I went to a Wham concert, which as I remember wasn't too cool when I told my mates I was going.
Never pass up an opportunity to see anyone that moves you.
Hope you've had some good memories to and will have more.

what a beautiful interview! Is this John Chambers youtube channel? for the interviewer to mention one of James' possibly lesser known LPs "For Goodness Sake Take A Look At Those Cakes" a late 70s bump and hustle disco classic with the killer ballad "Someone To Talk To" shows he's a real JB fan.

What a legend. Love how he just gets excited when his hit songs are mentioned. Not one of those "but I have this new album..." people. If a song on any album he released became a hit, he started doing that live, simple as that. Soul and funk for the people. I'm very sorry that I didn't know about JB's final visit to Helsinki, Finland. Just heard later from my bassist friend, who had been there... very soon afterwards we got the sad news.

So I talked about this subject, be long over do about abused at the workplace.
This is a serious matter I mention way back
harassed and abused at the workplace
Company that you work for still give a damn they can replace you that's one of the things you have to know if it is about any corporate that you work for they can replace you.
Today go through the proper procedure to make your complain
you keep a diary the date the time who is being rude disrespectful and you talk to your manager and talk to the store manager are HR and still there's nothing done then where are you supposed to do do you quit the job.
Without any money to pay their bills responsibilities and most people stay with this job
Home and taking care of your family yet you also always I was tell anyone never close the door to apply for jobs online no matter what the no solution to the problem, you should always have a back-up plan.
Because no one gives a damn about yourself but you it's very important so that you have to take that kind of abuse even if you went to HR and they still ignore it because sometimes let me tell you and this is true in most of these continents you'll find out they will not fire employee who does the abused.
Turn other cheek a blind eye to the situation as long as the job is done still give a damn.
The bottom truth and if you all know where I'm coming from
