I'm so happy you gave this an update. I only use software amp and cab sims, and the biggest hurdle is finding an amp and cab that doesn't hit the uncanny valley. I'm fine with digital-sounding guitars so long as they're expressive, which this definitely is.
Hey Chris. Dunno if you read these comments, but I just want to say thanks for all the work you do. I’ve had so much fun trying all your stuff. It’s absolutely incredible! So many secret weapons in my arsenal now. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next. Gonna have a blast with this for bass sound design ;)
"Oh but wait, let's get even more intense. How about we make this supposed amp, that is _very_ high gain already, louder." [Plays - not loud enough] "Louder!" [Plays - not loud enough] "All the distortion, everything louder than everything else!"
Chris ....you rock man! this is very nice Approximations are much more interesting, and I'm surprised about the amount of parameters. AWESOME! I'm jumping in my DAW today!
Hey Chris, is there anyway there is a more simple road or collection of videos to learn programming this stuff? I know you have your live videos and such. But man, if anyone should do a course that could get people into this quality of programming , it's you. To me , it's the quality control of it all that truly fascinates me. I understand programming very well, but somehow the road to audio/DSP is very confusing. Please help....?
Thanks Chris ....This seems like a really fun option... The ability to dial in lots of different cab sounds to taste that don't quite exist in the real world....I like low of different little color guitar parts doing tiny little accents.... The variety here could be really interesting.
This is pretty neat. It's like the room loud makes it just fuzz out at some point lol. Definitely a cool tone tweaker plugin. Have it downloaded and will mess about in a while. Awesome about all the plugs being updated and more efficiency increases. Love it.
Hi Chris, sounds great! Not sure why this might be, but when I load Cabs64 in REAPER, it brings the level down considerably and, best I can tell, the Cab Type doesn't change the sound ('cept BassAmp which brings the gain up a bit, with the slider all the way to the right). This is on both Windows 7 and 10. But I love the tones present in this video, wonderful stuff.
Thank you Chris, I've been on a spree and I'm adding your plugins, which are so good. This is great. Just out of interest, I have found it sounds crisper when I put it above the amp sim, but still gives the desired cab effect. I'm using Reaper. Thanks again for your wonderful plugins and tutorials on them.
boy there's gonna be a lot of weird fuzz shoegaze noise guitarists getting in on this cranking the Room Loud, gonna need to try it out myself. want to try putting these on synths to add a bit of a reamped sound to them.
you would need a speaker sim thing running into it to get a "proper" guitar cab sound of course. usually they have the cab sim built in, interesting to have them seperate.
k the room size thing, that's fantastic! The intensity thing - would have been nice to back it off, hear it NOT so damn exaggerated - nonstop! Sounds like it introduces too much noise to be useful. But, that plugin can undoubtedly dial in just about anything one might imagine, real and non-real. Dynamite software!! Many thanks ☮️
About this undersampling... is that whats causing an artifact at 20 khz when the music is not playing... every 15 seconds or so there is clearly a spike on the frequencyanalyzer...
Hi!Thanks for everything you do!!The Cabs plugin is very different from other IR loaders etc..I cannot really hear the cab (giving a warm sound). Its like you are playing with no cab.Is it just me?Cheers!!

Killed IT!! Love your raw talent at making plugins... MASTERFUL! Really completes all the distortions youve made... gives them a SAUCE!

I wouldn't mind some more over-the-top-gain. Besides that....excellent job C!

Beautiful cab sounds! Thank you so much, Chris!!!
Thank you, Chris! This works wonders on all sorts of amp sims!
Wow sounds so cool Chris!

Is that a pair of Euclidean Circles modules in the background?
Amazing! Which reverb are U using in this strip?
He is using GALACTIC and VERBITY

Works really well with additional mic IR
