So many groups have cut their success short by "in-house" fighting and unchecked egos.
I never even knew they had a falling out. I'm just gratified they made amends because they were truly friendship goals. RIP BB. You will always live in my heart rent free. 🖤🥺

It's easy to assume you deserve and equal portion of profits when you aren't putting in all the leg work. Rob was always making moves for his show, creating content and such. Black sound bitter af.
The truth is he didn't want the to take on the extra responsibility of production(i.e. shit done before and after shooting the scenes). +Gallardo 5Million Yeah and Black looks like a typical entitled black. Do half the work but expect equal, or maybe just considering it reparations like they all do.
I believe both is true. Robs ego went through the roof and Black didn’t want to spend time doing editing, writing and so forth. But when it comes to show presence, unequivocally without a doubt absolutely 50/50.
Its hard listening to this. Big is the one who changed. Rob just has a strong personality, and has a lot more business sense then Big does. Even tho i think Rob gets a little annoying, Facts are, Rob wrote the show, directed, constantly being creative, not to mention, if he was so greedy, whyd he bring his Family in to get their share of the pie as well. This is a timeless story of a friendship with different personalities, and the Outgoing personality always advances while the other feels like ther being left behind. Sad that they couldn't reconcile bcuz they wer great friends.
He got mad because he wanted more money not position or fame. Listen to the damn interview. Everybody wants more & more as a show becomes more popular.

Rob wrote all the scripts and built the brand from the ground up. A brand that Big Black owes EVERYTHING to. He has a clothing line? Who cares. I went to his site and that shit is DOWN. He played the game completely wrong and that's that.
Big Black was the life of the show. I feel that he should've gotten his just due. The idea of putting your friends on to the money is in order for all to get wealthy, become partners and expand everyone's brand.
The first video you can find where Rob meets Big it's a genuine friendship that starts from Street Skating! Once it got Hollywood, Dynamics changed to business, at a certain point where friendship becomes business as far as being part of the creative process that makes money. In this case Rob needed to keep the friendship over the money.
big black only reason why I watched the show was because of you. I could see how genuine you are and what a good man you are and extremely funny. I haven't watched mtv for almost 10 or more years now and when I did it was your show with Rob. so if mtv really wants generation x to come back they need to smart up and get you a show. you know what ? don't even go to them ! go to other channels mtv has been dead for decades now. hope to see you on a screen soon. if no one will give a show there is always UA-cam be your own boss that's what you deserve.
Nanaminera A - That is so true, and I feel the same way. I don't even like that ridiculousness bs. All he does is show old clips off of you tube and exaggerate how funny they really are. That show was nothing without big rob but i could tell that Rob had to kiss a little ass to stay where he was at. Looks like he expected everyone to kiss his ass. Fu*k dat foo and everything he touches. Selfish Prick with a serious little man complex.
I don't know about you, but I find it HILARIOUS that Mtv still has the Video Music Awards... when I honestly cannot remember the last time I saw a music video on Mtv. I mean, occasionally I believe I've seen a random video... whatever is biggest and newest at the time of course Mtv shoves down your eyes.. but I saw people getting awards and im like bitch wtf I never saw any of these videos on Mtv or anywhere else for that matter unless I looked it up on youtube or dailymotion. Mtv is such a joke... grew up in the 80s and 90s watching it and I saw a huge change around the late 90s... it got taken over by reality tv and fucking garbage im pretty sure nobody watched except emotional teenage girls and our parents.
ridiculousness is so fucking stupid, every clip they show has like 6,000,000 views on youtube and EVERYONES already seen it... all they do is play the clips and bounce around on the couch laughing. how the fuck can that 4 foot tall little prick get paid for that? hes riding on the backs of everyones work.... at least Daniel Tosh makes jokes and does skits that are actually funny and relevant... I kinda want to see Daniel tosh beat the crap out of Rob to be honest..... lol....
Met Rob at Street League in Chicago and was blessed to work with him. You might think he's got a celebrity attitude like Big is saying, but he couldn't be more generous and caring about people. All the interviews I've watched Rob has always talked good about Big Black never a bad thing. It's messed up to hear him talk all this trash about Rob. Street Dreams wasn't a flop.. Rob used his own money to make the movie and then the Theaters made Rob pay them to play his movie. I thought the movie was great. Rob's not "hollywood" like Black accuses him of being, in my opinion.
It aint talkin shit if it the truth tho. 11 n 5 years late to this interview, but as you see 11 years... around that time probably after rob heard this. He had chris come back on fantasy factory. This is just an assumption that could easily of happen. Maybe Rob didn't have much of any shit to talk about him, and knowing he most likely heard this... he knew he fucked up.
@@narcoticconnoisseur7807sadly the boys on UA-cam confirmed “BB was murdered by numbers” and a sacrifice rob is now worth 75-100$ million “clothing/DC ownership in brand / shows/ real estate/ businesses in California and Ohio / and ownership rights of MTV ….. I think the main beef was money between them two not that they hated echother but greed is a bitch and just like Dave Chappelle did he left the 50 mill because everyone knows once’s you reach “20 million and up club” you get contacted by the men in black suits it’s the game all played out perfectly the ending of rob and big to before fantasy’s ending him brining him back on to the start of a new show after at the end money be wicked both have a play into it
+Juan Lopez sounds like you need to go back to school little homie. you're saying he should use "we're" as in " we are" when thats not the correct way to use it in that sentance.
I'm reading the comments and it's pure comedy! If anyone wants to respond and cuss me out that's fine. One man didn't want to be another man's sidekick (any longer). What self respecting man wouldn't want to be an equal?
I'm sure he's doing more just security..and you think otherwise then you are fooling yourself. He didn't ask to be part of Fantasy Factory. Rob pretty much begged him to be.
Have you ever seen the DC video?. He was involved way before a TV show ever came into the picture and real skateboarders know this. Get your facts straight.
Lol did you not listen to anything in this video dude... ? Are you that fucking stupid? He stated that he doesn't do that.. that he does appearances and has a clothing line. When was the last time someone paid you to MAKE AN APPEARANCE? People probably would rather pay you to make yourself unseen and do the work they hired "the help" to do... you know.. clean pools.. gutters... landscape..
MTV also begged him to do more seasons of Fantasy Factory even though he said he didn't want to because he had to do "everything" for it but again, they threw absurd money at him so he did it. If you really want to know about him, watch his interview with The Fighter and the Kid. He talks about all of his success and career.
You right!! You was the show BB!! Loved every minute u were on it and kept looking for u to come back..now we don't even watch it anymore! MTV need to give u ur own show!!! Much Love and Aloha!!
Rob is a world of ideas and fantastic salesman/marketer. He brought Big Black Man out of an ordinary life and gave him fame and fortune. It doesn't matter that they were great friends, there can't be two chiefs! The "love" of money is the root of all evil. The saddest part is how money DESTROYS friendships!
Word.. He was like he's at 7 eleven and waffles like everybody else.. What nigga? This guy really thought he was Michael Jackson or something.. It's just food.. We know you're da same as us..
Why are ppl doggin Big in these comments are you kidding me. Its called Rob AND Big. The title song is let me tell you bout my best friend. Yea he started as his bodyguard but they became best friends and had a successful show because of the BOTH of them. And I can see his frustration man. Like yea Big Black wouldnt be shit without Rob, but Rob honestly wouldntespecially his first show would have been as big without Big Black. Shit I didnt know about him till that show. BB just wanted a little more respect and bread and I see nothin wrong with that. PS pretty sure theyre cool now.
Rob is the marketing god of skateboarding, same way Apple was for smartphones. He had money before the show, but I'll agree his TV career wouldn't exist if it wasn't for BB
ye but WATCH THE INTERVIEW AND HE SAID ATLEAST THEY DONT THROWU UNDER THE BUS rob never threw him under the bus and talked shit about him EVER EVER MAN and he mad him famous he put him on guranteed the show wouldnt be as big without big but rob did do more and put him on without rob big would still be unkown i mean in 2015 what is he doing?without rob he wouldnt be famous and big has the ego throwing shots and throwing pple
Extremely accurate and fair breakdown. Both those dudes are creative and talented... Glad they worked it out though. So if Big was a white dude was the business deal, time share, control over content ok? HELL NAW... Corporate America had enough of Big Black (especially the black part)
@@SinghBros24 I think Rob has been doing this longer so he understands interviews and to keep it limited. Big is a dude from the streets and hasn’t had many interviews he’s just simply gonna speak his piece. In my opinion, Big made the show. If Big wasn’t there that show wouldn’t have been a success. The ratings were high more bc of Big!!! Rob was funny too but more like the cheese to the burger Big was in the realm of comedy. However, if Rob wrote the material that’s cool he should get paid more but if that’s my boy I’d explain like it won’t be 50/50 bc I do these things but I would take a cut from my original pay to keep the show and my friendship.
+byVezro I did. he said they wanted it to be scripted then watched it unfold on camera so they said do what you want. Go watch a recent one from like 3 weeks ago
gothamtyler Lol you are partially correct. They watched the true unscripted magic unfold between them. So that gave them confidence to go with Rob's route. So he started writing up ideas for them to do.
It is unfortunate this break up occurred, it was a great show and my personal opinion is fame and money can ruin a lot of things and friendship is one of them, R.I.P. Big
and outside of the skateboard world. No one would've known of rob. 80/20 is pretty fukd up. And rob does do some fukd up shit to The rest of the cast. Even his cousin. No one wants to be belittled forever.
+YouCanCallMeLizzy it was "80/20" because all Big wanted to do was walk on set and perform then go home. Rob not only did that but also was the creative director, writer, and a bunch of other back room work that Big didn't want to do. So, Rob made more money because of that. Big just makes it sound like he did equal work and was getting ripped off and that's bullshit.
i wish no one would hate on any one. i watched fantasy factory and i loved big black and rob equally. it was a great show with 2 great dudes having fun and that was it man. yall were partners no matter what happens just wish eachother the absolute best and continue forward
"Let's just keep playing this gay ass gunshot sound effect after he finishes each of his sentences" "You think people will like that?" "Hell fucking yea!!!"
Without Rob, no one would even know who this guy is. He would be bouncing at a strip club, be broke, and certainly not be on the radio complaining about the guy that made him famous.
Rob is a visionary type of person. Ideas, work ethic, and fortitude. Where would Big black be without him? Sometimes business is business. You can't be expecting the same pay just for showing up
Rob knew they had the show because of him but he didn’t realize how much impact big black had in till he was gone. I’m glad they made up before the passing of big black
He sacrificed big black foretelling their difficulties & business on why they didn't get along,if Rob hadn't let the cat out the bag in public like that he would have still been here..
+Franklin Evans Rob's side matches some of what Black is saying. He said in a recent interview BB didn't like being the sidekick, and it sounds like Black felt he (Rob) was more important to the show than he felt he was getting credit for. I think that's a fair statement. In the end, I fucking hate it ended so soon. I loved that show
I agree, I think BB ego go bruised. it's a shame, that Rob and Big show was one of the biggest out of no where hits in recent history. too bad people couldn't look past pettiness to make money and history.
totally called it, don't worry big black we all love you more and we all knew about robs small man syndrome. he's ego problems shined by the way he treated d. and any time he talks in interviews
so if you were a side kick...would you want extremely less and be treated like youre second when the ratings came from both....he just wanted respect...so since he was second, he didnt deserve respect....ok...
So dont expect respect from anyone youre below.. (job...meaning your boss..etc)...if you are disrespected....suck it up and deal.. you dont have enough power to earn respect....
Having failed in a few businesses I can tell you that when you are in the position of power, you should run with the money like Rob. I can guarantee you that Black would have done the same if he originated the idea. Ask Jay-Z, Puffy, Dre, Bill Gates, Buffet etc.
It sucks to hear BB throw shade on Rob like this. Rob has never even hinted at anything negative about BB. You don't have to know Rob personally to know he's a good hearted humble dude. Rob & Big was one of the best shows on tv ever. They had such good chemistry and you could tell that they were truly friends during the show. You can't fake or script that kinda shit. Money ruins everything good, man I swear.
+Dave Diamonddog look at the upload date, this was from 2010. big black was on the fantasy factory after this interview and even an episode of ridiculousness. so either he got paid really well or he kissed some major ass to get on those shows.
Big Black: "He came at me with ego: I did this Black, I put all of this together. He was getting 80% of the sandwich, it's gotta be equal." Rob: "I did all the writing. He didn't want any part of it." ...lol the truth hurts I guess.
If you look at how things started at the beginning, Black was just Rob's security guard, plain and simple. I think the fact that he was included in Rob and Big, and was put in a position to go from security guard to millionaire, should be a little more appreciated. If that is how it went down. I could be wrong. Although I do think BB appreciates what Rob did for him in the grand scheme of things, I think he's also forgetting that it was Rob who handled all the creative stuff for the show, who did all the off-screen work, and then held the same "actor" role that BB did. But Rob was performing on the show, and he was the draw. So equal credit and equal pay? That is not how Hollywood works. The star draws the money.
It was always apparent to me that big black was the real comic genius on rob and big. Rob was funny too,.and they complimented each other well.. but big anchored the joke narrative in a way that made it work.
a lot of y'all in these comments defend Rob because you guys are all into fantasy factory and ridiculousness. I get it. the fact of the matter is, big black was just saying he wanted to be respected and acknowledged as a man and as Rob's best friend. what reason does big black have to lie?? yeah they're fine now and all that. but if Rob spoke out, what does he have on big black? I mean really. obviously big black is just telling what he observed. yeah its true we never see ourselves as the villian or whatever, but I love rob and big. but I do have to agree, as time goes on and rob gets bigger, he has gotten more and more cocky and just out of it.
he is a big guy that doesn't mean he is muggy Boggs u must be crazy to thing that. he was so amazing and really just wanted his part in what he worked hard for I saw him every day making his dreams come true and that's what is really meaningful. the fact that anyone would say that about such a kind heart really makes them heartless. from his daughter.
We know what happened. BB got greedy and thought he could do his own thing. Realizing rob gave him the best thing to ever happen to him. Look at Chanel and steelo now. Do you know why they're in their 23rd season and still there? Bc they know what Rob has done for them and not complaining
Well Ridiculousness has become the most successful show on MTV in the channel's history. In fact Rob wanted to leave it because he "didn't want to be on MTV in his 40s" but they threw an absurd amount of money at him so he couldn't say no. MTV isn't his passion, his skate league is and in it's avenue it's doing really good even though I'm not into that. Rob doesn't need anything from anyone. MTV needs him
Thats your problem..you wanted to be out in the streets getting slurpys and shit, and Rob wanted to sip that good bubbly. Your mentality is what destroyed you. Rob is out there doing his thing, where you at?
Marybeth Bavero how would you know your not Big Black. You just herd the man air Rob ass out on the radio clean the wax out of your ears and stop hearing what you want to here smfh.
We still love you Big Black! You were the only reason I watched the show!!! You made that show !
in that picture they look like a prison couple...
Lmao!!!
Burrrrrrrrn
I'm fucking crying

How sway 😂 how you didn’t know that. They even talk about it on the show
"Nobody would have known him without rob." I found them both at the same time through Rob & Big and im sure plenty of other people who weren't into the skating scene found them both at the same time as well.
I like how the DJ/host points out that Rob never threw Big Black under the bus.
+JFn Cho For Real though, Rob is very careful to say nothing bad at all about him
Rest in peace big black
Who cares? He got his ass killed off, which is worse?
As he is dragging him...
@HollaAtYaBoy2006 i prefer them both, but yes i agree. Rob is a better Host but big would make for a better reality show
they good now. this old. BB came back with Rob on fantasy factory. but, I'm glad he spoke real on this subject.
Or that could be because Rob realized he wasn't doing as well without BB
They still show that show?
Marv Servil
good question but i might go with no
Yeah they good alright lmao
Trippy, I was in the Navy and on the same ship as BB, then was named Boykin. He was a Mess Specialist that worked in the wardroom. Interacted with him only a few times but he was always funny and a positive guy.
then he turns to rob who's in the car with him and says we got em.
Ryan Melean i could see it RIP to Big Black
this old af and I'm barely hearing about it..damn
facts. me too
Same here
MTV did not want this info released that's why
lol I was 28 when this came out lol
yuup
It's easy to assume you deserve and equal portion of profits when you aren't putting in all the leg work. Rob was always making moves for his show, creating content and such. Black sound bitter af.
100% agreed. totally changed my outlook on him from hearing this interview.
That would explain why rob still has a thriving show on the same network lol
+Reid Smith Yeah... I'm hoping you're agreeing with us? lol.
rodriguezpro2012 yes I was
but black was a star on the show bro without him it's just Rob and drama
lol we alll came back to this old ass video after that interview
Sup poopoo
It hurts hearing this kinda stuff. This was one of my favorite shows growing up, it's hard watching the show knowing they didn't like each other
The more you understand most shows etc are just business purpose. We are consumers.
big was the one who changed up...damn thats deep..his head got big .but rip to the man, i used to love him as a youngin
Another example of a man feeling entitled to something he didn't earn. Don't bite the hand that feeds you.
+Johnny Goodman hell yeah well said.
Fuck rob... I woulda robbed em blind... him and drama 😂😂
@Vaping Fast break Rob is a professional skater never had to make the show to be rich fams had money way before he became a pro to.

He got mad because he wanted more money not position or fame. Listen to the damn interview. Everybody wants more & more as a show becomes more popular.
Like I said after watching the fucking episode..he got mad because he played a supporting role
Yeah, it sounds like he got sick of playing the side-kick and wanted to be treated as an equal partner. Once he started getting money, and started doing his own thing, he wanted that to become part of the show as well, not just be seen as the bodyguard/roommate. I don't think it was money, it was being seen as the Robin to Rob's Batman, when he felt he had outgrown that role. Basically his ego exploded and he wanted to change the show's formula, whereas Rob didn't. Creative differences.

even rob said the show sucked up until the point big start coming up with stuff spontaneously
He did? When? ... Not knocking but seriously would like to hear that

+I-don't play that ish -punk PREACH...I didn't know this went down like that.
Ozzie Edwards - YEAH MAN! Typical mf's using us for sales and appeal to da bro's for their own gain.
I kinda want to see Daniel tosh beat the crap out of Rob to be honest..... lol....
why are people taking sides? these grown ass men dont need you to defend them...they both funny so who cares?
👍
They should just work out their problems and come out with "Rob and Big Blacks Reunion"
they're not both funny
+Andrew MacGregor Neither of them are particularly funny.
real shit
legend has it that Big Black is STILL waiting for MTV to call and give him his own show
And today, He passed away. Rest easy big black 😭 Do work! 💔
Chirp, chirp... That's the sound of Big Blacks career.
Your so right ✅ FACT!
And street dreams was a flop, literally didn't make much of anything off it.
That's usually the case with pet projects, especially without major promotions.
I think the main beef was money between them two not that they hated echother but greed is a bitch and just like Dave Chappelle did he left the 50 mill because everyone knows once’s you reach “20 million and up club” you get contacted by the men in black suits it’s the game all played out perfectly the ending of rob and big to before fantasy’s ending him brining him back on to the start of a new show after at the end money be wicked both have a play into it
I actually thought they were really best friends
key word... were
m3ile0hig3h key work poop
+Juan Lopez were: second person singular past, plural past, and past subjunctive of be. DUMBASS
+Juan Lopez no mames professor da same place were u picked upz ur short terms
+Juan Lopez sounds like you need to go back to school little homie. you're saying he should use "we're" as in " we are" when thats not the correct way to use it in that sentance.
Kinda glad everyone is starting to watch this and realise now
I don't like it when people instigate drama. I love Big Black but that's but what he said on the radio should have been said to Rob and stayed there.
I'm reading the comments and it's pure comedy! If anyone wants to respond and cuss me out that's fine. One man didn't want to be another man's sidekick (any longer). What self respecting man wouldn't want to be an equal?
100% agree
I'm sure he's doing more just security..and you think otherwise then you are fooling yourself. He didn't ask to be part of Fantasy Factory. Rob pretty much begged him to be.
Have you ever seen the DC video?. He was involved way before a TV show ever came into the picture and real skateboarders know this. Get your facts straight.
Who is this comment addressed to??
Lol did you not listen to anything in this video dude... ? Are you that fucking stupid? He stated that he doesn't do that.. that he does appearances and has a clothing line. When was the last time someone paid you to MAKE AN APPEARANCE? People probably would rather pay you to make yourself unseen and do the work they hired "the help" to do... you know.. clean pools.. gutters... landscape..
it sounded like big waas the one with the ego problem. rob already had money. DC is one of the biggest labels in the world.
And Rob earned that
+Johnny Cage No, but he was a big part or it and I doubt it would be as big as it is if he had nothing to do with it.
+Eatingricebubblz ya he had money but not fame
+brokenupbeat mad people wear dcs
+brokenupbeat i do... jk hahaha
Fast forward a few years later when Fantasy Factory blew up and here comes Big Black doing the shuck n jive again lmao
Unfortunately, money changes everything.
Ya don't f with your paycheck on the show... Looked like all was cool in the pool with the two. Big Black did his job good.
RIP Big Black
Rob is a world of ideas and fantastic salesman/marketer. He brought Big Black Man out of an ordinary life and gave him fame and fortune. It doesn't matter that they were great friends, there can't be two chiefs! The "love" of money is the root of all evil. The saddest part is how money DESTROYS friendships!
they both got ego issues, but this dude is acting like some ultra superstar, get real man
@hot dogg nigga please, BB went from being a nobody bodyguard/bouncer to a semi celebrity overnight. Ungrateful sad very sad.
Word.. He was like he's at 7 eleven and waffles like everybody else.. What nigga? This guy really thought he was Michael Jackson or something.. It's just food.. We know you're da same as us..
Law #1 of the 48 Laws of Power: Never outshine the Master.
Unfortunately Big Black isn't with us anymore but if he was, he'd be nothing without Rob.
big Black was the show.
and alot if what he said made sense and was
what all of us were thinking this how time .
big up Big B
Bruh, Rob was writing the entire show and you got paid the same just to show up. Your clothing line wouldn't have been without this popularity.
+Hoff Meow lmfao he didnt write anything he admitted it was all on the spot stfu
+Hoff Meow lmfao he didnt write anything he admitted it was all on the spot stfu
+gothamtyler go watch the interview lol
+byVezro I did. he said they wanted it to be scripted then watched it unfold on camera so they said do what you want. Go watch a recent one from like 3 weeks ago
gothamtyler Lol you are partially correct. They watched the true unscripted magic unfold between them. So that gave them confidence to go with Rob's route. So he started writing up ideas for them to do.
It is unfortunate this break up occurred, it was a great show and my personal opinion is fame and money can ruin a lot of things and friendship is one of them, R.I.P. Big
I like big but on the real, no one would have known of him without rob.
and outside of the skateboard world.
Big just makes it sound like he did equal work and was getting ripped off and that's bullshit.
it doesn't matter. That's not the issue
+Ultim8Aggie this is true.
+Robert Chambers what is the issue?
i wish no one would hate on any one. i watched fantasy factory and i loved big black and rob equally. it was a great show with 2 great dudes having fun and that was it man. yall were partners no matter what happens just wish eachother the absolute best and continue forward
"Let's just keep playing this gay ass gunshot sound effect after he finishes each of his sentences"
"You think people will like that?"
"Hell fucking yea!!!"
ikr smh
lol that's a whoo kid bomb drop. it's his signature sound like all DJs have. although it is annoying as fuck
lol pheeww pheew bang bang
Them shits are stupid as hell, dumb show at that
Without Rob, no one would even know who this guy is. He would be bouncing at a strip club, be broke, and certainly not be on the radio complaining about the guy that made him famous.
But he's famous now and doing bigger things than you, so keep hating in the comment section.
Without Big Black that show would have failed.
yup..
+jbugzy Whats Big Blacks show? I know that Rob has one but I can't find Big Blacks.
+erickarc elliot lol exactly bro
Rob is a visionary type of person. Ideas, work ethic, and fortitude. Where would Big black be without him? Sometimes business is business. You can't be expecting the same pay just for showing up
Yeah but the relationship evolves ; gotta renegotiate the terms as time goes on
Obviously they did. Big was just envious and wanted the same money. Its not like he wasnt making great money.
Rob knew they had the show because of him but he didn’t realize how much impact big black had in till he was gone. I’m glad they made up before the passing of big black
Big black should be thanking Rob with every breath that comes out of his body.
He sacrificed big black foretelling their difficulties & business on why they didn't get along,if Rob hadn't let the cat out the bag in public like that he would have still been here..
That whole show if you didn’t see it Rob was always trying to get big black doing something wouldn’t lay off, The guy didn’t know how to take a hint.
big black is funny and talented. But we all know Rob is the creative force.
We miss you big.
🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
the truth shall set you free, BB was my fav on the show . Him & the dog was the stars in my eyes. real talk!
Black does seem a bit bitter. I believe Rob story more.
+Franklin Evans
Rob's side matches some of what Black is saying. He said in a recent interview BB didn't like being the sidekick, and it sounds like Black felt he (Rob) was more important to the show than he felt he was getting credit for. I think that's a fair statement.
In the end, I fucking hate it ended so soon. I loved that show
+DeadSilverTongue61 yea
I agree, I think BB ego go bruised.
it's a shame, that Rob and Big show was one of the biggest out of no where hits in recent history. too bad people couldn't look past pettiness to make money and history.
Nando Cas
what did he do?
Black was just a security guard before the show. He wanted more money and he does not deserve it.
When keeping it real goes wrong
man shit i wish they brought that show back on air they were hilarious together lol
totally called it, don't worry big black we all love you more and we all knew about robs small man syndrome. he's ego problems shined by the way he treated d. and any time he talks in interviews
I used to work with Chris. I miss him. RIP
No disrespect. You were the Side-chick oopsy Sidekick. A loveable sidekick, but a sidekick. Play ya roll. You was Robin & he was Batman. 💘 that show.
so if you were a side kick...would you want extremely less and be treated like youre second when the ratings came from both....he just wanted respect...so since he was second, he didnt deserve respect....ok...
Blu Rayen Batman is below Robin. The End!!! :)
So dont expect respect from anyone youre below..
(job...meaning your boss..etc)...if you are disrespected....suck it up and deal..
you dont have enough power to earn respect....
+BellaAKATheVOICE Robs shows also have fallen off since he doesnt have his sidechick as you say.....
Blu Rayen Batman needs Robin, what more could I say???!!! :)
But it's true Big Black would just be another reg dude on the street if it wasn't for Rob ,
it doesn't matter. That's not the issue
How do u know that? Dont speak on what u dont know.
+Robert Chambers right
But he's not so speculating doesn't matter. Mr.T started off being a bodyguard, so did Michael Clark Duncan.
so did suge knight
"ill be at 7 eleven getting a slurpee just like everybody else" i love that.
Wow! I’m here 12 years later and didn’t know it fell apart like this
2016 and im still waiting for a big black show..
so who kept the dog ???
Dog died a couple months after the show. They saw each other at the funeral for the first time since he show ended. Rob talked about it on Conan.
+Can I Kick It? lol
+MrBakdafukup that makes sense
Can I Kick It? No he didn't. Meaty is still alive. Check Robs IG. SMH.
Meaty is still alive!! He even has another bulldog named beefy
Having failed in a few businesses I can tell you that when you are in the position of power, you should run with the money like Rob. I can guarantee you that Black would have done the same if he originated the idea. Ask Jay-Z, Puffy, Dre, Bill Gates, Buffet etc.
yeah... try not to overuse the GUNSHOT sound effect.
oh, too late.
Right shit was annoying af
@@samhartman5676 You beat me to it.
wow I'm just watching this and it's 6 yrs old ... MTV didn't want this out
It sucks to hear BB throw shade on Rob like this.
Ain't no lyin about that. Money is the legit root of all evil
Anyone heard from Big since this interview?
+Dave Diamonddog look at the upload date, this was from 2010. big black was on the fantasy factory after this interview and even an episode of ridiculousness. so either he got paid really well or he kissed some major ass to get on those shows.
last I heard he died.
Big Black: "He came at me with ego: I did this Black, I put all of this together. He was getting 80% of the sandwich, it's gotta be equal."
Rob: "I did all the writing. He didn't want any part of it."
...lol the truth hurts I guess.
The star draws the money.
if it wasn't for Rob no one would even know who big black is. He should be grateful to Rob!
And now he's dead.
He was getting 80% because he was part of the screen writing. All Big had to do was show up and enjoy the free stuff. LOL wow
Big Black couldn't even commit to a 5 minute jog. And we are supposed to believe he was an equal part of the show?
According to others, Rob was making more because he was the guy behind the ideas and putting in work behind the cameras. So yes, he should make more.
That's a shame because I didn't even like the show but just loved them as a duo even still. It's heartbreaking when duos break up
I always liked BIG but he sounds like the one with the ego problem. They even said Rob never talked shit on him.
"You're the size of Mugsy Boggs with the ego of Yao Ming."
he is a big guy that doesn't mean he is muggy Boggs u must be crazy to thing that. he was so amazing and really just wanted his part in what he worked hard for I saw him every day making his dreams come true and that's what is really meaningful. the fact that anyone would say that about such a kind heart really makes them heartless. from his daughter.
it's sad to see money destroy friends. who knows what really happened.
+Jeremy White Both sides of the story are saying it was a clash of egos.
We know what happened. BB got greedy and thought he could do his own thing. Realizing rob gave him the best thing to ever happen to him. Look at Chanel and steelo now. Do you know why they're in their 23rd season and still there? Bc they know what Rob has done for them and not complaining
Big Black is that dude ! Would love him to have his own show ! 😍
They killed bro bro
Well Ridiculousness has become the most successful show on MTV in the channel's history. In fact Rob wanted to leave it because he "didn't want to be on MTV in his 40s" but they threw an absurd amount of money at him so he couldn't say no.
MTV isn't his passion, his skate league is and in it's avenue it's doing really good even though I'm not into that. Rob doesn't need anything from anyone. MTV needs him
5 years later and this comment still holds water
Thats your problem..you wanted to be out in the streets getting slurpys and shit, and Rob wanted to sip that good bubbly. Your mentality is what destroyed you. Rob is out there doing his thing, where you at?
+Trouser shut your dumb ass the fuck up big black has his own shit going on. dont try to twist his words up like that you fucking groupie
Trouser shut your groupie ass up twisting mens words like a lil bitch
Trouser just shut the fuck up already youre annoying
Trouser look at all those white feelings grr angry
Trouser lol
Big black was the heart of that show sorry Rob eat some humble pie and stop hating.
Rob of all people is as "Humble" as they come. ♡peace
Marybeth Bavero how would you know your not Big Black. You just herd the man air Rob ass out on the radio clean the wax out of your ears and stop hearing what you want to here smfh.
And I suppose YOU know BB? Keep your advise about ear cleaning to yourself pimpdaddy!!! SMFH
I'm glad to hear the truth about it. Love you Big Black!
I love Big Black, I only watched because of him.
