Unfortunately big black said it best. Once big black got alittle money in his pockets attitudes changed. The issue is it wasn't rob's attitude it was big blacks. You can immediately tell because he went to saying he was in a "slave role". Uhh dude you were just a regular ass security guard and now you're on MTV, a life changing experience. a blessing of all blessings, life changing amounts of money and fame. You were never in a "slave role". Rob WAS the person setting everything up and got everything going. Rob was the main character. Rob was the one that had the mtv show. Rob was the pro skater who dedicated his life to skating and it paid off. I can imagine why big black didnt give us context as to why rob was saying "im the one who created all this" probably because big black was being pretty disrespectful. Let's not get it twisted tho big black held his own weight(hehe). He was so fucking funny. Unfortunately once he got some money in his pocket, attitudes changed. L

Nobody watched that show for Rob, big black was the draw and made the show. He wanted a bigger cut and that made sense. All rob has now is just 2 million reruns of ridiculousness.

Rob said he wrote most of it. Asked Black to write but he never would. Rob is manic about success. Different. Black was a family man at that point. I wish they could’ve squashed the beef sooner, and realize how short life is. We’re literally on a planet floating through space, Quite possibly the only intelligent life for hundreds of millions or billions of light years and people are arguing about screen time, money, characters etc. Wake up, the only thing that matters is family, friends, kindness and helping each other.

i honestly think black was just salty and envious. but at the same time he was just along for the ride at first. once his own ego started growing there wasn’t any room for the both of theirs. rob was always making moves and black just wanted to be there with him in a partnership. but big black couldn’t really do anything without him and i honestly think it’s mtv’s fault. corporations will always chose the white guy over the big black dude. like black wouldn’t have even gotten that extenze deal if he hadn’t brought him onto fantasy factory

That whole show if you didn’t see it Rob was always trying to get big black doing something wouldn’t lay off, The guy didn’t know how to take a hint.

It broke my heart when their show ended and then I found out they weren't friends anymore. I'm like if those two couldn't keep it real than who can. I had a best friend. Similar dynamic and guess what haven't seen nor heard from her in 10 years or more. Not bitter, better off for it now but nobody could have told me back in the day we wouldn't even talk at some point and by the way nothing happened! She just got goofy and I had to cut her off. Tried to reach out a year later to see if she had come to her senses.....nope still a dink. Good riddance.

It sucks to hear BB throw shade on Rob like this. Rob has never even hinted at anything negative about BB. You don't have to know Rob personally to know he's a good hearted humble dude. Rob & Big was one of the best shows on tv ever. They had such good chemistry and you could tell that they were truly friends during the show. You can't fake or script that kinda shit. Money ruins everything good, man I swear.

Years later I'm just now learning of their beef. I thought they we're close. Rob did say he had to write and produce & Big black just wanted to show up & shoot. At the end of the day Rob helped give Big black a platform. He was wrong for talking sh*t about Rob. Without Rob, Big black would've just been a security guard.

Rob was the one who pitched the show, helped writing scenes, produced the show and worked before and after the scenes were shot. Sounds like Rob did a lot more work. Big sounds like he is the one w an ego problem. I'd love 20% to just show up and film and not worry about any other responsibilities or work. Plus Rob has never said anything bad about BB and I've watched a ton of this stuff about their beef. Years later Rob is killing it and where is BB? Sad. Money changes things for sure. I loved this show and miss it

First of all RIP Chritsifer Big Black Boykin ! Didn’t spell it right but aye aha slow wins the race . BB clothing line shoe line etc. Was BEcause Rob tbh it sold like crazy back then . It was a give and take relationship. Just sucks childhood got caught up in the loop. Just like child hood now get caught up in YT advertising comerciales. Still .
