Definitely a good little knife to throw in the pocket. I’ll be using mine quite a bit

I bought the wharncliffe version and was very surprised at the small size of it compared to the price. Not sure if I'm happy with the purchase.

I was disappointed with mine. A tip that was quite proud was enough to ruin my excitement. I sent it back.

105 for a 2 inch knife. Awful expensive isn't it

In my opinion the size has little to do with the price. Being so small might even make it more expensive due to being more difficult to put together. The materials for the majority of pocket knives don’t contribute that much to the price, let alone the difference between two knives with the same materials at 2.5” vs 3.5” closed. But I understand that it feels like a lot in a way that it doesn’t on a bigger knife.

@KnifeThoughts I guess that's why everyone is entitled to their own opinions

So why i paid only 70$ for a #19 about 3 years ago? Its the same size knife.@@KnifeThoughts

Some dealers are asking even more like 130 -145. Crazy! This is a very nice 50$ knife.

That's easy to answer, although it's a combination of multiple factors. First, GEC's have soared in popularity and thus the demand for them is absolutely higher, and although that seems like an absurd reason for a company to raise prices it's still relatively normal among company's with a large following. And the other contributing factor is the fact that almost everything in society from retail to groceries to slipjoint pocket knives have gone through a pretty consistent span of inflation which means GEC has to pay their suppliers more for the same exact materials to create the knives, and then the price of those increased costs obviously gets passed down to the customer.
It's just the unfortunate reality when knives command the cost that a GEC knife does, which will obviously cause them to be more expensive than the same knife from just 3 years ago. Prices on all knives whether made in USA, China, or Italy have all seen relatively large price increases since 2021. A knife that was $70 three years ago that is now $105 is really to be expected honestly. Not saying it's right, just saying it's reality.
