You have to appreciate the difference of her culture, and lifestyle. I am Moroccan and we wash everything, I don't understand how you cook things without washing it.
Washing foods is not a cultural thing, it’s more like the way you are raised. I’m American and in my household, growing up, my parents washed everything and cleaned out the inside of an already cleaned out chicken/Turkey. All meats were scraped to get the excess fat off then rinsed. We washed eggs before cracking them and of course fruits and vegetables. It doesn’t hurt to go the extra mile, even when packages of food may say pre-washed, wash it again.

I'm getting addicted to watching you. it's so lovely
Akinyi & Benjamin, you guys are hilarious but! I have to agree with her, I’m from Trinidad & Tobago, and it’s our practice and custom as well, we wash all those things that you’ve mentioned, except the precooked prepared Uncle Ben’s Rice, I honestly do not wash it, don’t think I need to..that’s prepared differently to the regular rice..
