I wish I could have some of your limnophila sessiflora I'm so jealous. I'm in USA and I can't get this plant. Love watching you do your tanks for months. They are so beautiful, I would tell you come over here and do mine :) You have made me want to go back into having things. I have 10gal, a bowl because of you and some small 2.5 gal or 1.5 gal going. I also wish you were on Facebook. I try to learn things all the time with how your doing your scaping. Thanks.

These small "ponds" are my absolute favorite aquariums! Thanks to you, Mr. MD, I have 3 that have done very well - one for almost a year. They are quite suitable for filling in spaces and for small apartments. Thank you! Peace and Blessings from Texas USA ♡♡♡

If you're new, don't worry about having an expensive light. Plants in my 30 Gallon tank are gowning like crazy from a $15 US led shop light I got from Home Depot. I also use an $10 led desk lamp from Wal Mart on my terrarium. Both are working great and I couldn't be happier.

Yeah it's amazing what you can do cheaply in this hobby. I've had thick hairgrass carpets with a £10 LED light from amazon.
Also can you grow a Madagascar lace plant in a scape? I think that plant looks so cool.

Bowl is looking really good. Nice one getting that UG to grow so well in that kind of setup, it's a tricky plant, it almost looks like riccia from how it's distorted in the view from the bowl, looks really sweet and the foreground in this bowl is top notch. I've got shrimp in my planted bowl same size as this one as well, and 4 ember tetras that love it in there and just go round in circles together.

  • @ChristianLieb

The globe has always been my favorite MD tank. When I first saw it, I started pulling together items to make my own. FYI your links for Amazon U.S. glass globe not viable. For those in US looking for big glass bowl, I can suggest Events Warehouse. They have a big bowl of the same size...(shipping insane $$$ and crazily you have to buy two) beautiful crystal clear. They also have a ten gallon one that I have been eyeing. Also:the MD link to light on Amazon U.S.:that light is too short for the globe fat least for the one I got). I have been using clip on lights from Amazon 18 inch tall (Extractme LED Lamp Clip Light, 10w...). It's only pluggable by USB. Its.been good for plant growth, although have to find something to clip to. Using the same light for three planted projects.
