Honestly one of my favorite brands and I feel that they need more lovin!!!! quality is outstanding in my opinion.

Thank you SO much for the brand review! It gave me so many ideas for other products to try. I thought I was alone in not being drawn to pick up the Nude 'Tude palette, despite the quirky and eye catching packaging. I feel a bit better now, lol!

Excellent video as usual, I love your reviews. FYI The Balm is sold at Kohls now, but I also always get mine on hautelook. The new Balm Voyage palette is excellent and the instain blushes are amazing, I bought a 3 pack at kohls and although you can't use coupons in their cosmetics you can use kohl cash.
I enjoyed this as I hear mentions of The Balm products but don't own any. I love all your videos....can I make a suggestion? I would find it helpful for my forgetful brain if you listed the products you reviewed and then rated it - hated it/loved it, etc...I just finished watching it and remember that you don't care for the lip stain....but not if there were other items that you wouldn't recommend.

The Balm doesn't sell out fast on HauteLook anymore. It's been three days that The Balm has been on HauteLook and still every item is available and the prices are AMAZING!!! I just bought a bunch more items, esp more blushes and I'm gonna try their hair products. Oh and I have all their brushes, I loooove them. I have never been disappointed with any of The Balms products. I love everything I've ever purchased. 👍❤️❤️❤️
It's amazing because most of the products you love come in the "greatest hits volumen 1" palette. The incredible Bahama mama, the green/gold shadow from the Rockstar palette, blushes, highlighter, and yes, the covered lipstic

Great reviews, my friend! I'm a big fan of the concealer as well. I have used the crap out of mine. It's great for the days when maybe just not enough sleep happened....

Oh the packaging on these are so cute!!! I have to look into these. I've seen the nude eyeshadow and love how the shadows were the bikinis...would have bought it but for this review... :)

Hey Jen.......love the video. I haven't purchased anything from the Balm yet been to scared too but now I will after that. I also grew up in that time 80s 90s and love the hairspray Bands!!! I will defiantly purchase that eyeshadow pallet....,but my question is I've heard you talk a lot about the hair mask by the Balm I've looked on Amazon and Birchbox (big shopper of both) could not find it on those two web sites where do you get the hair mask I want to try it BAD. Should I get it straight on there web site or is there somewhere else that has better prices.
I found you based on my search of the balm concealer and love your honest reviews, newly subscribed and I have a huge makeup selection and beauty room and was thinking of starting a channel, any advice ?

Younkers sells The Balm now. I worked at the Beauty Station until very recently, and I loved this cosmetics counter. The Balm, Gorgeous Cosmetics, Cane + Austin, Studio Gear, and Philosophy skin care.
I'm new using the balm products and I love the Mary Lou Manizer and the concealer... They are great!! the only bad thing is that I'm from Colombia and it is a little difficult to find the products here. It was a great video! Thanks!
Love the balm, I can't live without Matt, is part of my eye makeup routine, and the Balm Jovi, those eyeshadows are to die for!! (Light hand with them, super pigmented) My next purchases will be Mary, blushes and Mama!! Super nice review!!
The Balm products are now sold at Kohl's if you have a local Kohl's near you. Kohl's just recently updated their beauty department now featuring brands such as LORAC, CARGO, Pur Minerals, and the Balm.
Just found the balm in my country for the first time at a sale and got them crazy discounted and so happy! got the mary lou luminisor and the bahama mama bronzer and am in loveeeeee. Cost me only $30 and it would have been atleast $80 at full price!
Love the balm cosmetics. mary lou manizer is my favorite product they make. Haven't tried the time balm concealer. I wonder how it compares to the OCC skin conceal

Ok...I guess I'm going to have to break down and give The Balm products a try. Don't know why I have never bought any of their make-up....but now you have convinced me.

My daughter introduced me to The Balm. She bought a single color named "Shameless Shana" and it's her 'go to' 'holy grail' favorite eye shadow color in a medium gold shimmer. Her name just happens to be Shana so its easy to remember the shade. I found it on a site that carries The Balm, sometimes on sale but not as cheaply as Haute Look. It does have a good selection. It is called 6pm.com and it carries Stila and a few other brands.

Hello Miss Jen! I know this video is almost 3 years old but glad I found this video. I bought the nude dude palette at Meijer for around $35-$40 and couldn't find any decent reviews or tutorials on this palette. Saw the Balm years ago on QVC or HSN, I am pretty sure but could be wrong. Love the palette but can't seem to make it work for me, I need more practice time (I'm 33 should be well practiced at my age but I'm not). So glad I found your channel a month ago maybe, then led me too the FB page, and I am learning so much from your channel, app, and FB page. Just wanted to share that with you. If you know of anyone that did a tutorial on the nude dude palette could u share the link with me? Very excited my local grocery store Meijer now carries the balm, Peter Thomas Roth, and so many more high end brands. It's awesome!

which primer is the best for oily skin and which primer is best for normal to dry skin?
I own the Trimony pallet and actually loooove the shades Matt Evans and Matt Lopez, they are two of my favorite transition shades of all time!
I just wanna point out that kohls sells the Balm if you want to run out and buy it right now, which you should! I love this brand so much! I would also really recommend the meet Matt trimony eye shadow palette. I find it just has some nicer shades. and meet Matt Hughes liquid lipstick. seriously stays all day and beautiful shades!
I ended up buying Mary Loumanizer after watching your video. You were right, it is a gorgeous highliter and very pigmented as well. So happy with my purchase. Thank you!

Ok, can you tell I'm having a Jen's Reviews morning??? Anywho, I was glad to see this review as I have heard a lot about The Balm recently but when I visited their website, I was a little put off by the prices as I wasn't sure if the products were worth it or not. I LOVED the colors and names of the Balm Jovi pallette and I was considering buying one for myself and maybe even my MOM as we are both huge fans of him and make-up. I know you said you get a lot of yours at the Hautelook sales and I thank you for that sight address as well. Also, I do have a Kohls here and I will check there as well. Thanks to whoever posted that.
Wendy Edler Yeah, I never buy stuff from The Balm at full price. Almost all of their products end up on Haute Look eventually. And sometimes Kohls has stuff that even their website doesn't have. It really is a fabulous brand!
Thanks for the review! I too had never seen a review of timebalm on YT. I'm definitely going to get next time it goes on haute look. It's hard to tell true skin color on YT so what shade are you in Mac? I'm a NW20, so do you think light in the concealer would work? Thanks again :-)
Have you ever tried the Stainiac on your cheeks? I hated it as a lip product, but I love it as blush! The best way I've found to apply it is to put a little directly on my stipple brush since it stains so quickly, and swirl it on my cheeks really fast. It's a nice, natural looking flush, and stays put for a good while. Maybe you'd like it better that way? Just a suggestion;) Great video! Did you see they came out with Cindy Lou-Manizer?? Need...
I agree with everything you said, except I DO really like the Nude 'Tude palette, however, I enjoy the Matt palette and Rock palette much more. Mary Lou-Manizer is also a FABULOUS highlighter! The only thing that didn't work for me as well, but I still love, is the Bahama Mama bronzer. My skin is too dark to notice the color, so I end up grabbing for my holy grail of bronzers: Warmth by Bare Minerals. Anyways, I really enjoyed your tutorial. Thanks so much for the humor!

I am absolutely agree with stainiac... doesnt do much, doesnt stain long enough and not blendable. I have medium skin tone and i love nude'tude and i actually hate the concealer as it tends to settled in my wrinkle i might need to revisit it and give it another chance ;)

When Border's book store was in business, they had a few Balm products in their gift section. I haven't seen them in any other stores though :(

The Balm is at some Walgreens. It's not in any of the small ones near me, but it's in all the big Walgreens.. (I'm in Chicago.)
The balm is sold in our drugstores here in Canada.....love their products!!!!!

New subbie here.. thanks for this review .. may I ask if you have tried Benefit's Erase Paste and between Benefit's & The Balm's Time Balm, which 1 would you prefer? Thanks :)
I haven't used erase paste, but a friend of mine from college swears by it. She has a lot of discoloration and acne scars and it's her go to product. As far as primers, I personally like Benefit's just a little better. Simply because it fills pores better. Both increase the longevity of my makeup at about the same level of awesomeness. Lol the lip stain! I just put my Benetint into a rollerball stick and it applies fantastically to my lips and cheeks. 💋

I found the Bon Jovi palette glitter shades (can't remember if that's what it's called and can't be bothered to find out) was patchy, not well pigmented and the glitter didn't want to stay put. not a fan
I just got their new cream blush and lip palette. Called How bout them apples. Playing on the word apples I guess meaning apples on your cheeks. The formula is different from the ones I have gotten in previous palettes.
