Not really. This tutorial is based on particles, which is a kind of 2D (fast) bitmap system faking a 3D environment. But try to experiment with different emitters placed on different spots of your object, and you might get the effect you're looking for 🤓👍
So there's something odd going on with that smoke effect on my end: rather than remaining constantly visible, there's a point where the particles are gone completely. More like "pulsing"" or "flashing." Definitely some kind of delay after that max particle count is reached. Working with Second Life particle scripts before: I thought it had something to do with that "Emission," but it's the exact setting as yours. Any ideas?
Having an issue at 9:10. Looks like you clipped a part that smooths out the smoke flow to emit from the center that I cannot seem to recreate. If you could fill me in as to what changed to create that smoke effect I won't hesitate to sub :)
Oxmond thanks for the beginner video I appreciate that

Can you please redo this tutorial it's not lining up with the newest version of unity.
Hey. Nice tutorial. Will this work for a mesh? Like a neon sign made with meshes.

can you make a SCRIPT for Unity with Traffic system of cars ? please ?
If anyone is having trouble with the smoke effect, check the box for size over lifetime and that should fix it

At 9:01, if you look at his scene tab particle information box, it's hitting 14-15 particles. Raise your max particles to 15 from 7.
Furthermore, as I'm watching, I realize he raises it again as he messes with the alpha value.

I feel you, had the same struggle
There is also VFX Graph in Unity separate from the particle system, so the title is very misleading but the video is great!
Thx ❤️ Yes, Unitys VFX Graph is soooooo cool. I'll make a tutorial about it soon 👍🤓
Unity is really going to end up being superior to unreal in every way soon.
Exactly! East dust Unreal! Hehe! 😜
