I love how at the beginning the clients all seemed to be a bit gloomy and as you show more tricks they get so engrossed in what you are doing. Well done
I really have enjoyed this series of videos! You did a ton of amazing tricks at this event! It takes years to be able to be that flexible with your tricks and when you perform them. You have a great way of sensing what tricks will work best with that group of spectators. You really put a lot of work into that room! Truly awesome to watch!
You never cease to amaze me brother. Keep it up that was intense. I’m still trying to figure out how you set it on fire and it went back together. You’ve got some serious talent man
im just getting more and more impressed and interested in magic cause of you Matthew! Wish I knew how you did some of these tricks so i could manage to expand my knowledge and amount of tricks that i know! Amazing as always ! keep them hot ones coming :D
Hey Mathew I wanted to talk about the first man you were performing to in this video. I'm aware of your thoughts about talking during a trick. You say you don't like interacting too much but I feel like this was definitely one of those situations that allowed for it. In my opinion the trick wasn't really deep enough to only warrant a one word response. Maybe a simple question or just something really small would've helped you two connect that little bit more. I want to hear your thoughts on that though now that you get to look back at the situation from different eyes
Hi Hugo, appreciate you taking the time to ask your question. I want to mention that my opinion is based on 25 years of real world performance. I make my living performing magic. This whole "you don't like interacting too much stuff" stems from a silly video breakdown by Chris Ramsay. He and I have never met. He has never seen me perform, he knows nothing about me, and truthfully, from what I have seen, he doesn't know much about performing magic professionally at real events where you get paid to do tricks. He an I are in different worlds. Everyone likes to chat. I could be at a gig the whole time and not perform one trick if I chatted with everyone. I am paid to amaze the guests with magic tricks. I am not paid to have conversations. There were 75 other people at that event. And I was trying to get to each and every one of them. Doesn't allow much time, IMO, to chat. What you didn't see is the brief conversation we had before I started doing tricks. I felt it was enough. If you could interview the guy, what do you think he would say? And if I did have a couple minute conversation with him at that moment, about coins, what do you think he would say differently?
Unfortunately most people will find it rude and awkward if you don't converse with them while u r together for a large amount be of time. I think it would benefit you huge if you were more social throughout the performance
you are missing the point... he has chats with these people all the time, before and after..... they know him personaly through out the years they keep hiring him.. The fact they keep hiring him year in year after is a HUGE clue to the fact conversations during the tricks are simply not warranted much....
my problem is that i only focus on card tricks and people often ask me if i know stuff other than cards i only know few if u could help me and tell me where should i learn
Yeah, I hear you. When I hear about a magician that only performs card tricks, I know he is not performing in the real world. You have got to mix it up. If it were up to me I would do card tricks the whole time. There are so many great resources for magic. I recommend searching some online magic shops.
Hi Apostolos, Have you read Bobo? Some of these classics are good, yet they have sooooo much material it can be overwhelming. Sort of like trying to read an encyclopedia. One could spend a lifetime mastering just that one book.
yh but mathew people always want magic in all stuff and i am new in magic like maybe 1 year and i think i have opportunities to star magic like u mixed up
That's why Expert Card Technique makes you a card expert if you master all the sleights from the book. The same applies to Bobo's book. Performing only card tricks isn't the bad things. You just have to mix the tricks with some kind of objects that differs them from each other. Lennart Green, Dani Daortiz, Juan Tamariz etc. mainly perform only card magic. They're still the legends of magic...
but mathew the bad news is in my country they dont take magic seriously so we dont have here magic shops so i can buy props like you in my country the only sell magic kits which are for kids
Matthew Furman i know but when people need more magic other than cards its good to have props cz coins will not fool them if they think about it like the french drop thx for reply by the way
Maaan!I don't care what people say like "Oh, he is the devil" and stuff like that. I mean our world is so corrupted, celebrity, Rapper Artist, magician are devil or i mean work for the devil cause they sold out there sold for Fame, Money, girls, magic, and some other stuff idk. But the things is i don't give a fuck if they sold there sold or if they are the devil.(: . But I would really love to do magic too and I would do what ever it takes to do that, I would totally show everyone my tricks to and make them smile and mindblown .
Matthew Furman I bet, dude! I want to do the same thing also cause im alone and it must be nice to meet some new people and nice for them to stop and actually have time to see what you gonna do. instead of be a stranger and trying to talk or hangout with someone and they just walk away from you or don't say anything. Tbh must be nice having an attention like what you doing with magic where people with smile on there faces, happy, and watching you still whenever your done and they talk to you... 😏
Matthew Furman Annd i tried doing cards tricks , coins tricks back then when I was 7 but it was so hard and frustrating. but fyi im 17yrs old now& alone, and a drop out cause I felled in love with the wrong person and that feeling sucks.. . but ever since then I just been a nobody and doing things that I thought I would never do... but i do it just to numb my feelings and feel happy and forget about the memories of the girl i loved and some other stuff and when I don't take 🌿 or acholo or snow white. I just feel depressed, lonely, useless and it sucks feeling all that. but my dream was becoming a professional magic trick guy when I was little and my favorite magician guy back then was Chris Angel. So its must be nice to be you and do alot of amazing tricks, making people laugh, getting attention, and getting new friends. Just wish I had could be someone else instead of being me.😒
+KR3W xxx You ever here the phrase- the grass is always greener? Don't worry about 1 girl. There are soooo many out there. You can do and be anything you want in life. You are in control. Decide. Commit. Succeed!
I love how at the beginning the clients all seemed to be a bit gloomy and as you show more tricks they get so engrossed in what you are doing. Well done
Hi Boyd, appreciate your comment, happy to have you here 😊
Your videos are just getting better and better Matthew, keep it up!
Appreciate that.

Thank you, really nice to hear. My big secret is having a large arsenal of tricks. Makes it easier.
I like the combo of full routines, see interaction with spectators, and then the montage of reactions with music playing over the top. Good choices.
Thank you Keith, appreciate it. Truth is, didn't have my mic on at the end 🙃. I do think the montage worked well here.
My favorite is your coin matrix! Looks so magical. Enjoyed the video as always !
Yeah, killer routine. Do you like it better with the cards or my hands?
+Matthew Furman your hands for sure.
You never cease to amaze me brother. Keep it up that was intense. I’m still trying to figure out how you set it on fire and it went back together. You’ve got some serious talent man
Hi Chris Edmunds, appreciate your comment, happy to have you here 😊

💥 Another hot one, the flaming card trick 🃏... it's a hot one 🔥 ... 😃
Hi Chief3hairs, haaah, you know it!
Nice Fiber Optics :)
Thank you. Actually it is a big combo of a lot of stuff I put together through the years. I do that routine on stage for 200 people.
+Matthew Furman nice! Looks like a lot of fun.
that ring on the pencil is a hot trick
Big time. That guy was mind blown...
beautiful

Graff52, unfortunately some people have an unwarranted sense of self importance. No one cares who you are, there is no need to talk to everyone.
my problem is that i only focus on card tricks and people often ask me if i know stuff other than cards i only know few if u could help me and tell me where should i learn
kevin abajian Get Bobo's coin magic book, and other than that just search foe tricks with everyday objects!
Yeah, I hear you. When I hear about a magician that only performs card tricks, I know he is not performing in the real world. You have got to mix it up. If it were up to me I would do card tricks the whole time.

9:20 lmao
did UA-cam help you with getting new gigs?
Hi Luka, great question. The answer is no. I haven't made a dime from UA-cam. Getting new gigs isn't really my goal.
but mathew the bad news is in my country they dont take magic seriously so we dont have here magic shops so i can buy props like you in my country the only sell magic kits which are for kids
Hi Kevin, good magic isn't about buying props.
