Ngl even on the street you conduct yourself well. Every time you say "that's a hot one" honestly I think of that as your unique branding. And something people can remember you for which I love. Keep it up.
Mark 777 exactly that's what I told someone they was like stop saying that a hot one..and I told the commenter aye that could be his signature saying..uniquely for him. .that's his style!! everybody has their own way of presentation
Thank you. This is a big point that everyone misses. It is a catchy phrase that everyone seems to like. It is branding. When I am at a gig, you should hear everyone by the end.

The problem with saying that’s a hot is that you come across as very cocky and proud and your praising your magic let them praise it not you.
if you sold a shirt with a logo with 'THATS A HOT ONE' I swear id buy it. LOL

Hi Keith, yeah, you cannot beat a curse for a reaction. I hope people can understand why a suit like that is grossly inappropriate if you are hired for an event.
Matthew Furman in fairness his clientele knows his style and probably hired him knowing he brings that to the gig. Top each their own. But if he's going to keep taking unprovoked shots at you I'd fire back too.

I am a rapid fire trick machine :) You can always expect a ton of tricks from me. Reactions like that are more likely when with a big group. This is usually what it is for me at a gig.

This time your performance was very interactive! You talked alive and didn't sound like you were just running down your cold script. This is the kind of style you need to adapt! Just cut the "that's a hot one" and the othere repetitive stuff and you're going to a really good direction!

Your Wayne Houchin needle swallow, Jay multiple card selection, metal bending, etc are very amazing. "Thats a hot one" is a good branding type of saying :). But sometimes I feel like your trying to connect with the card trick and yourself instead of the people around you :/. Learn to take advice rather than throw it away. I do agree though you have more experience in performing than that Chris Ramsay guy. GL. Wait a few seconds for them to react rather than keeping speaking and doing the next trick, which ends in not letting those CRAZY reactions show.
