So beautifully compilation of beloved PJ HARVEY. The neon generation of generations know very well who she really IS! And this, is just an A1 loveable tribute to her art!
A carnival, a flesh farewell Hiessens rising from the, from the dead "Wyman-Elvis, " calls our gurrel And counts the ash to where, to where he bled (2x) Gawly, the sweethearts leaves The soldier's tears The Riddle river grieves (3x)
I appreciate you doing this, although it's not quite my thing, to be honest. I love the original for its build-up from subtle murmur to cavernous iron throb and back. It's full of whispers, hints and abysses. This doesn't do that for me. The constant beat and volume get in the way of subtlety and tension, creating an unchanging mood instead of a story. A very different piece, legitimate in its own right but not as gripping to me.
Well done, this is a lovely tribute to the legend.

Thank you for those kind words 💙
