Hi guys and gals, Sorry it took a little longer to put up this video. Cherokee NC is one of the best places to fish for trout. We had a blast fishing and almost caught our limit. There were six of us and we caught 59 that day. I am going to do my best to keep with the schedule and publish new videos every week. I am still fighting with my editing program, trying to learn the ins and outs. Thank you all for watching... Like, comment, and subscribe if you enjoy our content. Do you think you could do an exclusive video for just fishing at the ponds? Then a different one for just the rivers? I want to see what the major differences are as far as style of fishing and rate of catching fish.
Hi david, I normally use pink worms on a single split shot and my goto spinners are mepps. but I've used panther martins before and do like using rooster tails.
Hey Sean, I should have been clear about that. We were having a conversation about another lake's fees. It was just caught up in the footage with the actual bite. Thanks for your feedback, I will be more cautious about what I say ahahah. Tight lines man...
Hey brother. Just wondering what you think about it if I used a Medium Bass Fishing rod for trout fishing. Or, would it have been better if I used a Ultra-light rod?
Alias Find, I have seen people use medium bass fishing rods for trout fishing. I do not see any problem in using it. However, I feel like the lighter the test line, the better. I do not use an ultra light rod for most of my trout fishing and still catch fish. It is all preference, if you move a lot while fishing, the lighter the better. But if you are stationary, it truly does not matter much. Hope this helps - Angling Bros.
Angling Bros Thanks. Went out again but the bite died down like crazy the day after they stocked it at Linville. Luckily, I was the only guy who managed to catch any trout today.
@@Unspoke hahahaha feels great to be that guy. Great stuff man, linville is pretty nice too. When I'm down that way I usually go to happy valley pee dee river.

That isn't a bad idea Mrs. Kong. I think I can do that. The water speed and environment of the river is totally different from the ponds.
"Oh my goodness flapped my camera..!" Lol that was hilarious.
Yeah, they do that sometimes... hahahah
What baits you like using man? I see u aren't using the float with egg bait. Panther martin or rooster tails?

Any time man ahaha
Awesome catch! What parts of Cherokee is this?
Hi chip we were on the upper ocanaluftee near the ponds, and the ponds themselves.
How is an annual permit 25.00 if they charge 10.00/day?

@@anglingbros9653 no need to apologize, I thought I was missing out on a great deal! Haha I fish up there at least a handful of times a year.
@@seanbrennan3824 hahah right, only if it were that cheap...

Thanks Peter! I caught a 2 big trout the other day and I believed without my Bass rod, I wouldn’t have caught them.
@@Unspoke Great Job man, keep it up.
