Silence | Kaj ti je, deklica?

Kaj ti je, deklica? (What's the Matter, Little Girl?) by Silence. The track, an adaptation of a traditional Slovene song, was written for Livija Pandur’s play Alcestis (2019).
The video features footage of 1959 atomic bomb tests with active duty military personnel at Camp Desert Rock, Nevada Test Site, Nevada. The footage-part of the Prelinger Archives with the Creative Commons Public Domain Mark 1.0 license-is in the Public Domain.

What is interesting about Silence is that they always make videos "unmatched" to the song as much as possible... ;) I wonder why...

Electrofanka then again, if a little girl, her vulnerability, honesty and wonder at all of that life encompasses would be sacred - and/or the female in general/all it's expressions, including the earth itself (literally and as the synonym of our planet, our home) as well as nature in all it's expressions were respected - then who would ever have this utterly insane need of conceiving of weapons of mass destruction...????????????
